The domain of immense violence and giant robots

Holy fucking shit, I just saw Godzilla and Kong: The new empire, and I have to say, while I didn't like it as much as GvK, (probably because I am EXTREMELY biased towards Mechagodzilla), this movie has some of the BEST kaiju action I have seen since Pacific Rim. I loved each and every fight in this movie, from kong getting jumped to Godzilla FUCKING SUPLEXING Kong. God I could care less about the story, if the next monsterverse movie has Godzilla dropkick something it'll be an immediate 10/10.

Ever since Godzilla Minus One came out I have seen quite a few people say that the new monsterverse Godzilla looks "too silly" or it's "not serious enough"... My siblings in christ it is fucking GODZILLA, it can be both, we can have both horribly tragic and serious stories about an unstopable force of nature that destroys everything in it wake, and extremely over the top dumb action where a big monke and a radioactive dinosaur take down the dinosaurs's robot doppelganger. I will admit, the story of minus one is leagues better than any other Godzilla film I've ever seen, and yes the monsterverse could use some better writing for the human characters. But that does not mean that one is better than the other, in the kaiju action department GvK wins against Minus One, in the story and character department, Minus One wins over GvK. To conclude, they are both good movies for different reasons, my opinions means nothing to anyone but myself, and this arguement is stupid because we are arguing over how serious Godzilla should be, even though the character has both been a symbol of the horrors of war, and just a big lizard who drop kicked a giant beetle with the help of a big robot. Sorry for the rant.

I fucking love how the true final boss of AC6 is just this salty mother fucker from chapter one who you pummeled into the ground so fucking bad, he not only sends an assassin to kill you, but also becomes one with fucking skynet just to kill you... and he still fucking fails. Game of the year 30/10
