My lovely valentine.

Under your skins, bright red shines

Mold to shape, tender and soft

Warmth and nice or it once was

The sharp knife is all I need

A Pang of pain! Blood runs down

From a hand we held for hours.

Beautiful valentine, my love, I promise

You won’t feel a thing when the wound is stitched

And your warmth will make me whole again.

Spring Peepers

It is still winter where I live but we've had some sunny days and I'm thinking about spring. I miss hearing frogs at night like I could from my childhood bedroom, so I had to draw some little guys whose voices you just know are ringing through the misty forest!
