First up, they’re not in focus but they’re gayly gazing at each other in the foreground.

In the two pixels pictured above, you can see them in the background of Kane and Dallas’s conversation. From what I can tell they don’t have dialogue in the background, but they do look at each other for more than .5 seconds, and that’s gay.

Okay this one, Lambert hasn’t begun talking yet and Ripley looks up from her coffee and just stares at her for like a solid three seconds. Conclusion: gay.

Now we’re halfway through the movie, and they say words to each other! This is the best one because it’s in 4K ultra HD and nobody else is in frame. 10/10 gay.

After Ripley’s attacked, Lambert spends a solid ten seconds dragging her away from the battlegrounds. Saving her girlfriend, very gay.

This one is subtle, but Ripley looks at Lambert after they talk to Ash as if checking to make sure she’s okay. Gay.

Then they romantically walk, terror-stricken and traumatized, down a hallway.

You can’t really see Ripley’s face, but they are making eye contact. In this scene they looked at each other for a good four seconds, and for the life of me I can’t find a reason for that to happen besides because THEY ARE GAY.

now onto bonuses, which includes behind-the-scenes and deleted scenes.

The deleted scene from after Kane is back on board the ship and Lambert punches Ripley! ACTUALLY MY FAVORITE SCENE NOT EVEN KIDDING. It’s so funny only because of Veronica Cartwright’s explanation of how and why it happened, and how Sigourney Weaver demanded that they take it out of the final movie (Ridley Scott added it back in for the director’s cut, but it wasn’t in the theatrical). Ridley Scott confirmed that this scene was part of a sub-plot in which Ripley and Lambert have a lover’s quarrel over Ripley not letting her back on the ship.

THE deleted scene. We all know this one. Criminal that they didn’t put it back into the director’s cut.

And then here’s the current state of my camera roll. If you look close, you can see that they hold hands a lot. And not casually; when they’re holding hands they are AGGRESSIVELY holding hands. Holding on for DEAR LIFE. They are GAY.

Anyway that wraps up every time they interacted in Alien besides looking in each other’s general directions in separate shots. I would now like to bring up an equally as important image from Aliens

When Lambert’s image comes up on the little background screen, Ripley reaches her turning point in her argument against the Weyland-Yutani board. She was frustrated and giving up, but she turns around in her frustration, sees Lambert’s image, and launches into her rant about dangerous chances taking away everything important from a person. EXCUSE ME??? Seeing Lambert made her bring up LOSING THINGS IMPORTANT TO YOU??? Gay, that’s gay, they were gay, I don’t know what else to-
