in episode one, dinesh is all smiling and blushing and giggling while chatting with (ai) gilfoyle, proudly proclaiming to the office how close they are, like

and he's sending flirty ass messages with a fucking smiley face (?????!!!!!) when pre-s6 dinesh would NEVER. then when dinesh asks gilfoyle to make him an ai dinesh, gilfoyle just.... obliges? just like that?

plus they're going out for drinks together to just catch up and talk? and gilfoyle saying, as a matter of factly, "you love candy" bc of course he's noticed and of course he knows the things dinesh loves

and do not get me started on that finale when bertram "i don't trust anybody out of principle and bc of my personal beliefs" gilfoyle outright trusts that dinesh is telling the truth in the most critical moment in their life even after dinesh has warned them about how he will betray them!

the growth of their relationship pre- and during s6 was for sure what pushed them to come together in the end and get married build a company together in the future.

i guess they finally did follow richard's advice to "just fuck each other and get it over with"
