“Yeah, well they’re less obnoxious than some of the people I know.” He replied, going to move over beside Sora, “Probably because they have you.” It was supposed to be a compliment, he hoped that Sora would see it like that.

Kuro looked at the kittens as they played with a small smile, “Besides, someone has to make sure they know how to sneak into places to get food.” He was serious, it would be necessary in case they got lost somewhere.

Sora couldn’t help but smile. Despite the ‘tough guy’ act, the dark feathered angel was actually really sweet. “Thank you regardless. It’s really sweet of you to do this.” He moved toward the other, giving them a quick kiss on the cheek as he let out a soft purr.

……Of course, upon realizing that he just kissed the angel on the cheek, he quickly pulled away, face turning a bright red. “ah! I-I’m sorry! I-I don’t really know where that came from! S-sorry, that was probably really weird!” he covered his cheeks with his hands, letting out a small mewling noise.

He blushed, looking away from Sora as he gently rubbed his cheek. This was stupid, he shouldn‘t feel like this, there was a part of him that was feeling...good about the kiss. “Y-you’re welcome.”

“Well, that’s kinda what kids do. They get older and eventually yeah, they do enter the toddler phase of wanting to get into everything and are a bit more chaotic to handle.” Sora couldn’t help but chuckle. He carefully sat down, letting the kittens move over to him.

“But I think Viridi can handle it. I mean, she’ll have me. and Pythos will help out with the little snakes. and Yuki can help out as well.” he looked over to Kuro. “Plus, you seem to be fine with looking after them now and then~”

His Selphie senses were tingling.

The angel looked around the area, making sure there was no one around before hopping out of the tree that he was in. He took another quick scan around before starting to walk away from the tree. If she was coming, he didn’t want her to sneak up on her. Or stay where he was.

The dark angel snuck into the room where the kittens were, going to sit down. He had been doing this for a bit, coming in when Sora was distracted and play fighting with the kittens. It would help them, and he liked to imagine that the kittens liked getting some of the energy out. And it wasn't like he was being rough with them like he would be with an adult.

These ones make sure ind rest when mind needs it. These ones not need rest. Can rest, a little, not need though. The Unversed always made sure Vanitas rested, when he agreed to rest at all. He usually didn’t, but they still tried.

These ones are fine, yes. Had sweet icey ice, are good now, yes. Winged one nice, yes yes. The Unversed purred louder, one of the Floods flopping itself over Kuro’s feet. Mind will be here when mind gets here. Soon soon, maybe. Eventually.

Kuro let the Flood rest on his feet as he nods at their words, they would know ‘Mind’ better than he did. “Better to let him come on his own time instead of having a stranger push him.” The angel adjusted his legs a bit - for his own comfort, the Flood would probably be on his feet for a while.

This world was vast, he could feel it. There were strange things at work here, perhaps, he just needed to find their source. There was an odd heart he could sense close enough that he could detect it. It seemed almost hidden to his senses, but it was indeed there.

Perhaps best to be wary, if it was someone actively trying to hide their heart. Or perhaps it was a quirk of the world. Either way, he would be ready. And keep a reflect spell at the ready, just in case.

The angel’s arrow was almost fully charged, it was a perfect time to get the man’s attention. Now was a matter of finding out what the man wanted.

“What’s a penguin?” She’d never been to the south pole before. Only the north pole, a location where penguins didn’t reside. Plenty of cute polar bears, but that was about all she found living on the land. Granted, she didn’t look very far, but there was only so far a person could go when they lacked the ability to travel on land.

“Being a mermaid is normal for me, I guess. I’ve been one my whole life! It’s beautiful, and there’s so much to explore!” There’s a grin on her face as she speaks. “But what I’d really like to explore, is the world of humans. They’re the most fascinating creatures I’ve ever seen. Being an angel sounds interesting, too, if I’m being honest.”

“They’re some sort of bird that’s in the north, what’s called the north pole. Apparently.” It’s possible that the person who told him that was having him on. “I don’t know much about them.”
