Kevin left his home in a hurry over some sort of insignificant fight. In attempts to cool down he dresses lightly and leaves into the cold night. Moments later he gets lost. He scowls at his phone as he tries to make the GPS work. Unaware that someone lurked in the shadows. Next thing he knew he was punched off his chair and dazed. His wallet phone and chair were stolen from him. Coming to his senses he had no idea what to think. First he panicked then he calmed down and accepted what happened. Maybe it was for the best. Over the next couple of hours he dragged himself towards a trash pile and set up some bags around him to help keep warm. Having dressed lightly with no shoes or blankets, it was necessary. He waited to be found. Then he heard fighting. Flashes of lightning over head. sudden bursts of weather changes and even a few earthquakes. He started to panic and wanted to go home bad. Hours passed the fighting raged on. He was hidden away and no one really bothered him. Probably assuming he was dead or not noticing him at all. He held his tail tight to his body and protected the dying flame. Quietly mumbling the phone number of someone he cared about over and over as he felt regret and sadness. He should of never left. He should of been honest about his feelings. Kevin cried as he felt the familiar icy feeling travel up his tail and into his spine. He knew he wasn't going to last long. He closed his eyes. When he opened them again he was in a hospital bed under bright lights with a nurse tending him him. He had no idea how he got there or what happened. He had a vague feeling of being picked up and carried but nothing more. It took him time to process where he was, and that he was okay. He cried again and then just started to repeat the phone number to the nurse. Begging her to call him. Which she did, cuz she knew she needed all the hospital beds given the current state of affairs.
