While going through my google docs I found a short I never posted: how and why Mathis became a werewolf.

Mathis Galanox did not join the cult of Vaermina by choice - it's sort of the family faith. But he's chosen to leave. One problem: he swore his soul to Vaermina for all of time, in oaths inked across his very flesh, and now he's fled her flock with secrets in his head not meant to leave. If he wants to survive, and perhaps more importantly, if he wants to secure his eternal afterlife should his former associates find and kill him, he's going to need the favor of a different Prince. He's heard there's a witch out in the Hag Fen who runs with wolves.

Morrowind Mod of the Day - Dynamic Actors by Taitechnic and Interface Reimagined by Eledin

Morrowind has a lot of dialogue, from quests to lore to basic gossip, the NPCs have a ton to say in the vanilla game. But for all that time you'll spend reading dialogue, there's not much happening on-screen, for Morrowind essentially freezes the game when dialogue begins, characters frozen mid-walk, a static image with naught moving except the occasional bit of text.

While I personally prefer text-based dialogue, this frozen static screen is a bit dated by today's standards, and that's where today's Mods of the Day come in, for today we're showcasing Dynamic Actors by Taitechnic and Interface Reimagined for OpenMW by Eledin.

This pair of mods both overhauls the visuals of dialogue, streamlining and modernizing the dialogue interface, and animates the scene with the world still moving in the background and actors taking poses while you speak to them.

Far from the static world of before, these mods turn conversations into more immersive experiences, as you stop to chat with NPCs with visible animations and the world continues to move about you as you do so.

"Here is Windhelm bright & happy with no slum & harmony between nords, dunmer, & argonians. They're having a festival." AKA what if Windhelm didn't look like the gloomiest, most oppressive city at all times of day.

If you go to the stables you can overhear the dunmer nobledaughter being chewed out for thirsting over nords. Peak.

Just utterly annihalating the stormcloaks whole racist philosphy. "Skyrim belongs to the nords"? Yeah well it does a lot better with equal rights.
