hi! i saw you reccomend ninth by kyn in a different ask and decided a few months ago that, why not, I'll give it another try. fast forward about two months and ive read (very neatly almost) the whole thing and can't talk to my tf friends about it because they (totally reasonably) dont wanna read it, but i cannot stop thinking about it and its driving me insane.
its so well written, the character relationships are so intricate, the world building is SO COOL and i never thought id love the dynamic between jazz & prowl & red alert & inferno sooooo much but i really do and its got my all time favourite megop take ever and. god. theres not even a point to this ask i just needed to talk about this fic to someone who's read the fic. thanks for the rec it was 100% worth it
Hiiii im super late but I'm happy you had fun with it!! :D Ninth is honestly such a well written thing. It's also made me deeply uncomfortable in several places lol. Like I fully get why people wouldn't want to engage with it + it's super long which can be quite intimidating. I have my own gripes with some of its parts but I'm also a huuuge fan of many of the world building elements. And it's to date my favorite megop. And I don't even fw megop usually lol

Sadly I don’t have much trad art of Jazz and Prowl specifically, but I did start designing a little Bebop figure a while back so you get my notes and drawings of that. I added a couple oc doodles at the end too because that’s probably what you actually meant
Plus the first JP fanart I did. It looks goofy but that was before my first enlightenment on the mysteries of digital art
Okay I'm finished outlining Act 2. It'll have 10 proper chapters + Epilogue and Prologue. Much like Act 1 it'll most likely stretch into closer to 15 but we'll see. Lengthwise I think it'll be similar (80-100k).
I'm also still on the fence on whether I wanna pre write a few chapters before posting... I would like to have a consistent schedule but I fear a self imposed time limit will only stress me out. hm. My outline is detailed enough that I'm not too worried about borking continuity or creating accidental plot holes. and I haaate sitting on a ready chapter. ehhh. the prologue at least I'll post whenever I'm finished with it since it's pretty short.
maybe I'll make a poll later to ask what folks would prefer. as for now, you can expect the prologue to act 2 sometimes Soonish. assuming I don't get hit by another sickness lol
