i haven’t made that server yet, been dealing with a lot lately primarily with attachment/abandonment issues. also i got cheated on by my partner/cg just when i was finally starting to feel security, and thats made me completely shut down. more and more im starting to believe that regression is the worst thing that could have ever happened to me. all its done is make me even more vulnerable to getting taken advantage of by people who dont know the first thing about caring yet call themselves caregivers.

and i can’t fully pin the blame on them. i see the signs and i overlook it, thinking communication and promises are enough to protect me. but if someone wants to hurt u, they will. their word means little to them. don’t trust blindly, don’t ignore the signs, don’t ignore ur instincts, even if it’ll make u look ‘paranoid’.

but anyway i’m restarting therapy soon ! this is my year of no longer being afraid of being abandoned by the people who hurt me. it’s my year of walking away first !!
