Even if Bernie Sanders does become President, it’s not going to change shit if you don’t vote for your mayors, governors, sheriffs, senators, local councilman, etc. If you don’t vote in the non presidential elections for representation that falls in line with his policies, you’re just setting yourself up for a grand disappointment. More education and priority needs to be put into the multiple elections that happen midterm. Because, those are the people who directly effect you and who move up the ladder in your area until they run for president.

This is what I have been saying forever omg. I live in Japan and things like AKB48 and the way they have normalized the sexualization of school girl uniforms is disgusting to me. I’ve heard of some high school girls who’ve started wearing the boy’s suit to school because the clothes they have to wear instantly make them a target for gross people with a school girl complex that the media has made socially acceptable. Ughhhhh it’s just all so gross, just let kids be kids. The sexualization of their outfits gets even younger too, though that’s not quite as normalized. You can go to a store and get a Halloween costume of a kindergartener’s uniform or an elementary school gym outfit. It all just makes me want to vomit.
