As a Muslim this is so disheartening. Muslims really need to understand that anyone can say whatever they feel like about Islam. About any part of our religion—about our verses, about our God, about our prophets. You can’t throw a tantrum every single time. People talk shit about Christianity and Hinduism and whatever else on the regular. But VERY few of their communities set human beings ablaze over allegations of remarks that may ‘hurt’ the religious sentiments of another. What Muslims need is to calm the fuck down, grow a backbone, and have some maturity. This is why we’re mocked all over the world. Why we’re denigrated and called terrorists. Because we do shit ourselves that make us look fucking BAD. And then you have barbaric baboons normalizing literal insanity in the name of God and prophets who would REJECT their behaviour. Because it is not aligned with our teachings or the teachings of any religion. It is not aligned with basic human decency. I am so tired of this. I am so tired of Bangladeshi Muslims, who are so uneducated and easily swept up by their emotions because someone ALLEGEDLY said something about their religion. So. The. Fuck. What? It happens all the time to other people, and they’re able to keep their composure. But not these actual swine
