I would suggest you start working with Hethert the same way you start working with any nTrw. Offerings.

Since you don’t say if you’ve ever provided offerings before, I’ll assumed you’ve never. And forgive me if you have.

Pour a glass of cool water in a clean glass, and set it down in a place where you won’t be disturbed. Which also has some significance to you. I used to use my windowsill of my bedroom.

Raise your hands to me equal around your face with your palms facing outwards. This is one of the many Henu gestures (and the most easy to describe).

Saying or thinking strongly, something along the lines of ‘I give this cool water to you Hethert.’

Add more if you like, use her titles and thank her for ways that she has been present in your life.

(I tend to say something at this point like, ‘stay or go as you wish, the offering will be left for you for the next three hours.)

Revert offering. Means taking it back, and if it’s edible, means eating or drinking it.

What is she like? She is perfection. She is a sense of numinous on a hot day, she is the guiding handing, she is spinning, celestial, the vastness of the night sky. She is kindness incarnate, she is everything, and tiny, and so much utter love. She is motherhood in all of its attributes and she is more stunning than my meek words could ever compare. She makes my heart pound in my ears to think of her, and I feel like I might cry to be before her. She is… beautiful.

How can you build a relationship with her?

Be kind, be utterly kind. And work in her honour, speak to her, love on her behalf.

You know how small you feel when you look up into the night sky and see a million stars staring back at you? That’s Hetheru.

You know how awed you feel when you look up at a giant, ancient tree that’s see epochs come and go, entire civilizations rise and fall, and know that you’re nothing more than a blink of an eye to it? That’s Hetheru.

You know that need for silence you get when you enter a Very Old Cemetery with nary a clearly marked name on the headstones and not even the twitter of bugs or birds is heard? That’s Hetheru.

She wants to spread that joy, too. I thank Her in my nightly prayers not just for bringing me those things, but for helping me bring others those things.

What does She like? Well, what do you like? She wants you to bring joy and happiness and love, so for me She’s always taken those things that bring me such as offerings. She likes candy. She likes sweets. She LOVES art. Any art. No matter how bad. Did you put a lot of effort into it? She loves it. Did you not but you enjoyed it anyways? She loves it. (Heru-wer, Her blessed husband and my Father, does the former as well. And please, know Him a little as you get to know Her.) Don’t beat yourself up over anything you bring to Her or over what you cannot. She understands.

Pt 1

Sitting in the heart of Leo, Purva Phalguni is like a lion full digestion: lazy but still fierce.

Among the three Venusian nakshatras, this lunar mansion represents the most the traditional aspects of Venus which are beauty, pleasure, leisure and abondance. Gwen Stefani, Ketu in Purva Phalguni wrote “Rich girl” and “Luxurious” where the main themes are lavishness and finally enjoying the fruits of one’s hard work.

In this cover, we can notice that she is sitting on the throne of Magha.

“Working so hard every Night and Day and Now we get the pay back” is the chorus of her song luxurious

Which makes sense since as the previous nakshatra Magha deals with the fierce battle that comes with establishing oneself.

“We loaded and we’re not gonna blow it” she says in Luxurious, she is protecting the throne.

Purva Phalguni's artwork often revolve around Love or I would say Passion, relating to the etymology of Venus which come from the old indic “Vanās” literally meaning Desire. One of the translations of this nakshatra is “little fig tree”. Figs were considered a symbol of prosperity, abondance and fertility in all the ancient world. In ancient Greece, they were associated with Dionysos, God of wine, Ecstasy and Festivity. Here the tamasic nature of Purva Phalguni is very much evident: these natives like to revel themselves in the material world.

“Because we are living in the material world, and I am a material girl” sings Madonna who has her moon in this nakshatra

The main symbol for this lunar mansion is the hammock or daytime bed, here it’s easy to feel the sultry energy oozing from Purva Phalguni who also can be translated into “the former reddish one” linking it to Rohini where materiality and desire is also a prominent theme. The deity of Purva Phalguni is Bhaga, one of the twelve Adityas. He is referred to as the morning star, title that links him to Venus or Shukr as Venus is the morning star, shining brightly at dawn just moments before the sun.

The Sun plus Venus rulership makes Purva Phalguni, a very bright nakshatra and the natives are often very excentric and charming people.
