UGH get it out of my head!!! Worse than retail Christmas Music
Frankly I don't really pity retail workers when they complain about how much they hate Christmas music or how sick of it they get by the time December rolls around.
Why? Because their hell is seasonal. It only lasts from maybe late October to January. And they have more than one song.
Frankly I'd welcome that kind of "torture" with open arms. And not because I'm one of those people who says, "Oh Christmas music! You must love getting to listen to this daily." ... but rather because I'm someone who can say, "Try having just ONE song to listen to at work all year round and then talk to me about annoying music."
Yep. Not even a good song too. Freaking "Mary Had A Little Lamb" - two verses with counterpoint melody between them. On repeat. EVERY SINGLE DAY.
For a while I was going nuts trying to figure out why I had some Beatle's song stuck in my head. Until I suddenly realized it wasn't one of their songs... it was the counterpoint melody to Mary Had a Little Lamb.
