TERF accusing Jews of pushing “trans ideology” and that George Soros (y'know, the guy Nazis use as a stand in for Jews controling the world), Jennifer Pritzger, and Martine Rothblatt (both also Jewish), funding the “trans agenda”

Janice Reymond refered transgender men as the “final solution of women” which is both very anti-Semitic and disregards that the target of the first Nazi book burning was the Institut Fur Sexualwissenschaft which coined the term transsexual and performed the first SRS.

TERFs like Cathy Brennan and organizations like WoLF routinely work with racists (sometimes even neo-nazis) to achieve their anti-trans endgoals. Brennan worked with the Pacific Justice Insititute (which is classified by the SPLC as a hate group and compared gay marriage to the Holocaust) to fabricate stories of trans women assaulting cis little girls in bathrooms.

WoLF is literally working with the Trump Administration (who are very, very racist) to bar trans civil rights.

They appropriated the work of Kimberlé Crenshaw to claim intersectional feminism doesn’t include trans women when Crenshaw herself very much said it did.

Thé pancourse. Like. It was good people were pointing out the problems with pansexuality. The biphobia and the transphobia and definitions that rely on them.

But then it devolved into shitting on pan people with like zero consideration for who they are and what they were trying to say about their experiences, like trans and nb pan people talking about their experiences of transphobia in the bi community being treated with the same vehemence as cis pan people.

And no where was the acknowledgement that pan people experience the same material reality as bisexuals so the goal should never be to alienate those who are just as susceptible to biphobia.

Like the goal should always be to the educate and find common ground when we’re dealing with intracommunity issues and not like mocking and division.

I don’t think pan is a useful or good term given its history. I don’t think people should continue to use it. I also recognize people will regardless of what I say and will experience the same oppression as me as a bisexual and to abandon them in absence of harmful behaviour (pansexuals doubling down on transphobia can choke just as bisexuals who do can) would be irresponsible.
