Something I was thinking during my last Disco Elysium playthrough which the Cuno post reminded me of. It's interesting how the game doesn't censor any slurs aside from "faggot". Like slurs like "dyke" and "retard" appear in dialogue completely uncensored. Which makes me think the choice to censor the word "faggot" comes off less as an actual desire to censor bad words and more as a bit of characterization for Harry. Like idk if that was the actual intent but the fact that it's the only word that gets censored in the entire game to me seems to highlight Harry's particular hangups about sexuality.
