as soon as sanji has a restaurant to work in again he immediately snaps back to very old habits re: customer service. that is, he addresses customers he doesn’t like in very polite japanese and refers to them politely as お客さん/okyaku-san whilst lipping off/preparing to kick their asses.

Sanji’s brothers, both in the present and the past, refer to him as 落ちこぼれ/ochikobore. Literally it means something like ‘fallen scraps/leftovers/garbage.’ It’s also used to refer to like, a dropout/someone who isn’t good enough to keep up with demands.

No wonder he starts crying just after this.
