i wasnt happy with my previous take on Blemmyes so i took another shot at it! Blemmyes are Ancient suits of armor left behind in Orbourne fortress. they've been overtaken by Colonies of Grafting spiders who Puppet them using Ember thread which they tear from the bodies of those they kill. its not shown in this example but most of the suits would be quite covered in both webs and Spider eggs functioning as moving and armored colonies

Julias and his lion, a wretched moving Store that Cavorts its way into the most undesirable of places where the Desperate customers would be likely to pay More than usual for their wares, from the Deepest labyrinths of the ruins to the Blazing inferno of the battlefield one is never far from hearing the Rattling of the lions tail and the Gluttonous chewing of raw flesh

A Pilgrim Devoted to the Hallgrim church, he wears a Relic mask upon his face and adorns himself with the Visages of saints as is custom in Hallgrim Culture. He's been partially Deformed by draumic corruption but that does not stomp out his devotion as he continues to venture into the depths of the Ruins in hopes of bringing victory in the war.

Draumic spirits are the bringers of the Draumic Scourge, a plague that warps and deforms reality around them and brings famine and sickness, cold and dread Draumic spirits are Everywhere in the world and are the restless souls of the countless who've died in the war, taken by Unfathomable forces they are sculpted into hideous demons so that they may Incur their anger upon the world. they can be warded off with Ember and the candles made from it which is one of the main reasons people wear candles outside of magic, Alongside that masks and religious trinkets are believed to help ward them off for a variety of reasons special to each culture.

At long last, a Hallgrim knight Equipped with a Relic weapon! This specific knight is one that goes by the name Kara and is the Head of a Sapper unit tasked with Destroying Fortifications and or Armor, including Enemy knights who frequently wear armor Resistant to Bullets Which has caused her to Fit the Rifle with a rack of Ember candles that Combined with her sorceries cause the bullets fired from it to Obliterate near anything in their path!

Some super quick doodles of a hallgrim knight design, far from complete however! ive been thinking alot about the technological level of the world and i dont think i ever talked about it here. the world of valleyboar is set in a world that was greatly broken by an ancient war that is nearly lost to history, during that age the technology wouldve likely been around Great war-ish but not 1 to 1 but said ancient war reduced the world to Being roughly medieval times, however what sets it apart is that within the ruins of the old world there are hoards of ancient technology like guns, radios and even trains, which causes the dregs of the old world to spark up even more conflict in current times! The Relic Technologies are Worshipped greatly by the people who find them depending obviously on the rarity, guns and the likes are decently common but are still ritualized while something as large as a train might have a small religious cult worship it as god-given. This causes a bit of a strange effect with the wars fought in the current age as itd be similar to trench warfare but when the time to attack comes about itd be strikingly medieval in style, knights such as these wearing armor capable of stopping bullets would go over the top in Solid formations allowing for weaker infantry to Engage each other in melee as Melee weapons are still by a very long shot the most common weapons utilized! Apologies for the ramble i just felt like i needed to get this down somewhere!

at long last i drew an actual cinder lich! since i made them months back their lore has changed quite a bit, they are now a rare biproduct of misusing magic, as is stated in the lower drawing the use of candle magic generates heat proportional to the spell being cast and if one is not careful he will Violently burn from within leaving only an ashen husk, they will occasionally however survive this which usually Causes them to spiral into madness as the candle song becomes louder and more distorted to their ears causing a Voracious hunger that can only be quenched by feasting upon other Lucerna!

a Slightly updated look at the inner workings of candle magic! im very much still refining exactly how it works but this is it so far! This However does not mention the fact that your flesh will start to turn to candlewax with time, nor the horrible candle like growths that appear out of said wax.

Okay so im sick and cant really focus enough to do a proper drawing but i had an idea i quite like so excuse the quality of the sketches! These are the inhabitants of the Jade glass city (itll have a few different names in universe) Its a city Deep underground that can only be accessed from one of the many old world ruins. The city itself is made of countless Thick green glass structures layered in an extremely claustrophobic manner with buildings hugging each other Tightly, it shows signs of having been far more prosperous in the past as its inhabitants are far too few to inhabit or maintain every part of the seemingly never ending City with shattered walls and small Quasi towns popping up here and there. The inhabitants themselves are somewhat reclusive as not many Come through due to its depth however they are not hostile, their Civilization Specializes in alchemy which seems to have been the origin of the green glass itself as it is far tougher than Regular glass. occasionally they will send people to the surface for a variety of reasons, most often pilgrims who have joined their society.

The Brazen Banshee a Large Bronze sculpture Made in the visage of the old gods after their fall, it is now puppeted by Draumic flesh. its stomach opens unleashing thousands of Freakishly long arms that drag unfortunate souls into a burning abyss, their screams Sounding out from between and vibrating its scales in a nightmarish orchestra

Some super quick Valleyboar Troll sketches! still trying to figure out their designs. Trolls by legend are said to be the first born race of the old gods, These theories appearing due to the trolls affinity for sprouting draumic growths, Eyes, horns, fingers and many more afflictions Target them relentlessly causing an endless cycle of evolution and devolution to any threat that faces them. And so it is said that letting a troll get away after battle is akin to signing your own life away as they will come back ever more horrifically deformed seeking revenge. Obviously they are very inspired by the omen from elden ring, i find their horrific horn growths to be such a cool concept!

Most dwarven cultures prefer making their tools and arms out of stone which they mix with their Spit to create an extremely strong material that also corrodes steel upon touch. Their Bodies may be sluggish and heavy but is optimal for carrying extreme weights thus their armor is usually very thick

This is just a quick sketch i decided to color in! I Realized i was unhappy with the two previous dwarf designs i made for Valleyboar, they just didnt quite hit the right feel i was after so i decided to try combining them, the shape and anatomy of the first design with the stone scales of the second ones and i think its definetly headed in the right direction! I'll continue experimenting with them but im way happier so far
