So these are just random things that I'm going to rattle off, because at this point I'm delirious from eating way too much Tofurkey...

I'm ridiculously thankful right now because Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and Hanukkah started last night and I got one of the best gifts ever from my parents, a signed copy of "A Train in Winter" by Caroline Moorehead. Its such a good book, so evocative and inspiring. I just can't talk about it enough so if you haven't heard of it... google it, buy it, read it. You won't be sorry.

I'm thankful for my health because I'd been sick with the flu for the past two weeks and I was just feeling awful, like I'd never get over it. But I'm fully recovered now and marveling at the wonders of the human body and immune system.

I'm thankful for my boyfriend's relationship with my family. I'm from an extremely close knit family and I've dated other guys in the past that thought my family was weird for being quite involved in each others lives and didn't want to get to know them beyond a passing hello. So it makes me so happy that my boyfriend gets along so well with my family.
