Far away, he heard the commotion of an attack, the unmistakable sounds of one-sided fighting. Then, suddenly, Vergil's face hovered in his line of sight, looking grief-stricken in a way Sephiroth had never seen him look before, and the hands on his face were so gentle and warm. His head turned, eyes drifting until finally they focused on his dearest companion's face.

He wanted to touch him back, he wanted to say something, but he couldn't convince his hands to pull against the straps and his head felt heavy in Vergil's hands.

Vergil sighed in relief, continuing to look at his beloved's sickly face. "It's me. I'm here," he said. He looked around the lab to see what he needed to do to get Sephiroth out. He knew he was strapped down, but that didn't mean there weren't other things keeping him there. "I'm going to get you out of here."

Shoving everything into the closet doesn't count as cleaning.
