The Gods of Penregia

The pantheon of Penregia consists of ten gods divided into two domains, each ruled by an ancient god who created the other gods of their domain. The Fysi gods led by Kron rule over natural or primordial forces, while Atoma gods led by Scia rule over forces of humanoids. In depictions of the gods, Fysi are always drawn with their eyes closed and Atoma always with their eyes open. (This is because of a specific legend I’ll probably get into in another post)

Hydrion: God of water

Lucani: Goddess of light

Monere: God of magic and monsters

Atoma

Scia: Goddess of knowledge

Heima: Goddess of family

Lex: Goddess of justice

Migral: God of travelers

The Five Kingdoms

The Zukarion Empire: The military powerhouse of Penregia, with colonies scattered throughout the lands. Their patron god is Bellir, the god of war and honor. No worship of any particular god is outlawed, but the gods of the Atoma domain are strongly supported by the government. They developed mostly through conquest, though it’s been many years since the last large war.

Bayern: The oldest of the current kingdoms, mining capital of the world, and the one kingdom which encourages worship of all ten gods equally. Home to the largest temple in the world, Bayern used to be the strongest kingdom of Penregia, until the Empire emerged and started conquering. An imperial colony still surrounds much of their capital as a reminder of their fallen status.

Silzin: Known throughout the land as the magical center of Penregia. It’s academy of magic, the Arcanium, makes it a beacon for mages of all sorts, especially wizards. Most of the land is desert, which has protected it from imperial invasion for the most part. They have no official patron god, but mostly worship Monere, god of monsters and magic, and Scia, goddess of knowledge.

Kaldia: A very secretive and isolationist kingdom. Kaldia is the only kingdom which the Empire has not been able to establish a beneficial diplomatic relationship with. Their secrets are so well-kept that they remain a bit of a mystery to the DM to this day. (An excuse for blanking on how to develop them? Of course not!)

I’ve started making my own homebrew dnd campaign and since most of my writer friends who I would normally talk to about OCs and plots are gonna be playing it, I made a sideblog to talk about it instead! I’ll be posting art, character descriptions, plot and setting ideas, and anything else I come up with.
