What’s your “Lens Trinity”?
A book I've been re-reading called "Canon Lenses (From Snapshots to Great Shots)" mentions what the author calls the lens trinity. This is when photographers develop an affinity for three lenses: a wide angle, standard and telephoto.
The book listed the following lenses as it's lens trinity.
For full frame cameras:
· 16-35mm
· 24-70mm
· 70-200mm
For crop sensor cameras:
· 10-18mm
· 18-55mm
· 55-250mm
I use full frame cameras and, since I shoot a lot of wildlife, my lens trinity is: 16-35mm, 24-70mm and 100-400mm.
I was curious, regardless of brand of camera one uses, what lens trinity other photographers here have and why.
Sunrise #15 - 2021-03-21 by D.L. Dietz Via Flickr:
An early morning sunrise over Kent Lake. The sky was cloudless and the sun rising turned a dark sky into a vibrant array of yellows and oranges which reflected on a still lake.
