#30daybeatchallenge Day 30

I DID IT!!! 30 Days of beats!

I ended it with a flip of one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite games Hollow Knight. I've been listening to this song for the last year thinking I'd love to make something out of it. Part of me has been timid about approaching it. My worry has been I wouldn't be able to come up with anything. Well, I was totally wrong. By far my favorite beat this month that I've made. I also put some extra time to get voice samples and making it a standalone beat to listen to as a song. This was a great challenge for me! I'm looking forward to continuing to create and learn more about my production tools and my style.

I don't listen to a lot of trap music, but had to take a shot with a trap rhythm. Also some darkness in the melody and ambiance for good measure. No crazy hi-hats through...I wasn't feeling that for this beat.

I started out with R&B drums and somehow ended up with a dark track with bounce. The piano keys and ambiance gave me a Dracula "Castlevania" moody action sequence vibe...so I ran with it. Something different yet familiar for Day 25.
