Everyone said this was supposed to be a great summer for new reads, but so far, all I’ve managed to find is a book about a Subway beauty pageant, and a really predictable thriller about a little boy who’s gone missing. Does anyone have any recommendations for something that’s actually going to suck me in this summer? At this point, it doesn’t even have to be new, if you can find an old book I haven’t read before, I’m all ears for that, too. 

I don’t have any recommendations unless you could fairy tales reworked because then I’d say Dorothy Must Die was a good read, but I’m a little intrigued about this Subway beauty pageant. 

Kai: Thanks. :) I usually talk to Lui but last time he threw me a huge "jail break" party that ended in disaster so maybe I do need more people to come to about this stuff lmao. I think a major is a great place to start! I mean, I know some rising college sophomores that still don't know their major. Besides, you've got the talent that'll take you wherever you need to go -- I say just trust your gut.

Leonie: There's no change that you actually ended up failing your senior year and you're going to be staying at Walt High next year, right? You're actually graduating this weekend?

Leonie: Because not that I don't love you, but uh... kind of ready for my time to shine, thanks :-p
