growing up, music has been a big aspect of my life. it’s how my family bonded. my dad has played a BIG role in my taste today and for him i’m thankful. i have so many fond memories where music was the thing to tie us all together.

chase atlantic was such a crazy day. the day of the show ended up being the first day of junior year. obviously my concert buddy and i still went.

we both went to different high schools, so we each had our respective first days of school. i then went over to her house so her brother could take us to the show. one thing to know about this day was it was the beginning of august and the venue was outside. so im at this show with only a single chicken sandwich and water in my system. it’s blazing hot out even though the sun was going down. the venue was standing general admission so everyone was close standing together. suddenly i’m feeling sick and going to pass out. THANK GOD for my goat who got me out of there and i recuperated went back and had a great time.

although i don’t have the best memory of the show i still had a blast given the circumstances.

my first concert ever. i was 15 and i went with my concert buddy. we had so much fun together. there was a guy behind us that new the whole setlist and he would scream out every song before it started and went crazy during each song. we offered him our water cause he went too hard.

this was the first time my parents let me do something on my own. it made me feel responsible and grown up, which is so silly cause 19 year old me now has experienced so much since then. i had a lot of growing up to do.

we were in the section 100’s and the pyrotechnics were so hot from where we were, i could only imagine what it was like on stage. for who dat boy the flames kept coming enhancing the performance. i’ll never forget this show, it made me appreciate live music so much more.

oh my gosh don’t get me started on this show. billie was so amazing and her live performance was insane. she really knows how to put on a show.

it’s always been a dream of mine to see her perform live and i got to go with my friends and boyfriend. my best friends favorite artist is billie so going with her was so much fun. we were matching and we made our boyfriends match.

waiting in that line scared if out tickets were fake was so hard. we were anxiously waiting for the light to turn green to let us in. i can go on and on about every little aspect of the show because it was just that good.

one thing that makes it so memorable was the iconic box of course and the fact that i was in tears during skinny. i knew i would cry at least once during the show cause her voice is just that good but the meaning of the song and the lyrics really moved me. billie is an amazing artist and i love her so much.

the pit was going crazy the whole show. i went with my friends and boyfriend because we are super big fans and have been listening to him for a while now. i’m so glad i got to see him live.

in da party live was magical. all the lights and the crowd was insane. when walking to the venue we actually got to meet smokedope2016 and take a photo and talk with him before the show. that had to have been the highlight of the whole trip. we all had an amazing time and i wouldn’t want to have experienced it with any other group.

my dad surprised my brother, boyfriend, and me all with tickets to see nine inch nails in jacksonville!

i remember how cold it was that night standing in line waiting for the doors to open. i was so excited to finally see the band that has so much history for my family. nothing will top the feeling of hearing them play head like a hole and my brother and i turning to each other because it used to be my dads ringtone for the LONGEST time. i even joked with him and asked if he was going to pick up the phone.

they put on an amazing performance and i couldn’t be more grateful for my dad in creating this memory for my brother and i. without him i don’t think i would have ever been this passionate about music.
