the hans we meet in the beginning,     and the hans we know by the end are so very different at their cores,     you can barely recognize him anymore.     the guilt will shape him,    break him,     and he will have to rebuild himself from those broken pieces.       death cannot take him,      he has no choice but to raze the old him and make himself anew. 

the part that is important for him to learn is that he does not have to destroy every facet of himself to make himself likable,      to earn the favor of people who do not have his interests at heart,     who look at his actions as selfish,     when it is really their selfishness that they will push onto him,     so at the end of the day,     they have someone to blame. 

he chooses what he chooses because he wants what is best for others,     regardless of his own feelings on the matter.     even if he hates the decision,     even if he’d rather die than make it.     he makes it because he has no other choice.      he is tired of being the scapegoat for everyone else’s problems,     he is tired of having his words warped and twisted,      his actions painted in the light of malice,     to make others feel better about themselves.
