maybe it's a bit ironic that audrey st. clare is the owner of a matchmaking service as there's likely no one who believes less in love than she.

she wasn't always like that, though. growing up, audrey was the kind of child who doodled hearts everywhere and held weddings for her dolls and stuffed animals. so maybe it's not really that surprising that this is where her professional career has led her. she's organized, detail oriented, and she sees the way in which people fit. she's good at what she does, even if she doesn't believe it for herself.

when she was 14, her parents divorced and audrey's world shattered. at 16, she was moving to maple brook, hundreds of miles away from her friends, her memories, and her mother. on top of that, she was supposed to smile and act as if her father's new wife and her child were her new perfect family. audrey didn't buy into it. so, she decided that she'd never get married.

a few years ago, she met someone who almost made her change her mind. for a while, audrey forgot to be jaded, but then they proposed and she had no choice but to end the relationship.

now she's determined to remain focus on her career and nothing else.

Jonathan was always a quiet child, more likely to found reading or imagining distant worlds than playing with others.

As he grew, Jonathan never quite managed to outgrow those personality traits; he continued to be more comfortable alone than around others.

He was never lonely, though, as his older brother (often confused as his twin given the few scant months between their births) was always by his side. James was Jonathan's favorite person -- and remains so to this day.

Jonathan currently works at the Museum of Natural History in NYC, traveling into the city daily. Though the commute is sometimes a hassle, he loves his job as it allows him to spend time studying and discussing his favorite things -- dinosaurs.

A few months ago, Jonathan received an Autism diagnosis. He's still coming to terms with it and what it means for his life.

Growing up, Julien wanted something different for his life. A creative by nature, he’d always wanted to become an artist. So that’s what he decided to pursue.

It was in undergrad that he met his wife. Claudia was as free a spirit as ever existed. Together, they were an eccentric match made in Heaven. They were married shortly after graduation, and a few years later, they adopted their cbild; life seemed to be perfect for some time.

Naturally, it was then that tragedy struck. Claudia’s death was a freak accident, something that should have never happened, but it did, and Julien was left to pick up the pieces. Had it not been for his best friend and his child, he wouldn’t have made it out the other side.

Julien threw himself into work becoming a named partner at his firm. Without Claudia, he simply couldn’t think of art in the same way anymore.

It’s been years, and while the shadow of grief still remains, Julien has begun to experience life again. His job, his town, and his child bring him immense joy.
