An obliquesfons (or BM-fictive) is a headmate who is brain-made and also a fictive. The headmate was created by the brain/is not from any existing fictional story, but is still a fictional character, or was a fictional character in their source.
A halftroject is a half introject, they can be introjected off the character's design or a brainmade headmate who has memories of being in a source but was never actually in said source, like a self insert or OC.
A fictish is a headmate who originated as an entirely unsourced entity and later adopted traits of a fictional source. This can be done for any reason. These headmates differ from fictives in that they are not introjects. If a fictive is an introject of a fictional character, a fictish is something similar without actually being fully sourced from a piece of media. These headmates may or may not consider themselves sourced.
An amalgam is a type of headmate that has a source but has a different relationship with it than an introject. Instead of directly coming from the source, the majority of amalgams already existed, before picking up traits of a source and taking it up as part of their identity. Amalgams may begin their lives as introjects, before gaining an additional source and becoming one alongside being an introject. In this case, they may also be considered multi-/dual- or a faitive. Amalgams may also begin their lives as non-sourced members and gain a source only later on. An amalgam of this type may be considered a pre-fictive, pre-factive, or another term using the pre- affix.
A semi-introject is a headmate who identifies as an original self and contains only a partial component of their source or sources. They may feel their identity is "inspired by" or "based on" their sources without them explicitly being an introject.
