Hi all! Today is my last day at home before moving out for university! I am really nervous. I am afraid of forgetting things at home, but I think I packed very well. This summer passed so quickly and I cannot believe I move out tomorrow! When I move into my dorm, my writing will be more interesting because there will be so much to write about! Tomorrow is Friday and I move into my dorm Saturday, but tomorrow I will drive in the city around my college. I apologize for the short post but after today there will be lots to write about!

Hi all! I have been doing a terrible job of following my plan of writing in French for 30 days. Since I am moving next week, I am very busy with packing all of my things and preparing for my classes. Every day, I read my French novel and watch Youtube videos to improve my French. I really like watching vlogs about daily life in France. I hope that one day I can make a vlog when I visit France! My goal is to go to France next summer, but I don't know my plans yet. I am really sad that I have to leave my pets behind when I go to university, but I know that my family will take good care of them. I am a bit nervous to make friends in college, but I know everyone thinks that. This month, I bought a lot for my dorm and I can't wait to put it all up! I am so happy to move into the dorm, but I am also very nervous. Wish me luck!

Hey guys! I combined my writings for 2 days, so the timeline might be confusing.

Today (aka 2 days ago when i wrote this) I decided to write about myself because recently I have been writing about more complex topics and I think that I should review the basics. So, here's a little intro: I'm Jules and I'm 17. This fall, I will be starting by first year at university and I will be studying molecular biology and French. I can't wait to improve my French level, to start biology research, and I also can't wait to meet my roommate! I hope to make a lot of new friends and that my classes are all fun. I am a bit nervous because today I found out that my French course requires all students to speak French all the time. I am used to speaking French in class, but before by teachers let us speak English if the students were having trouble. At university, it is more strict so I have to really do my best. Yesterday, I went to NYC with my dad. I had an amazing day! We took the train because it was faster and more efficient than the car. When we arrives, we went to the High Line for a long walk and to see the building called the Vessel. After, we walked to Chelsea by the Hudson river and we did some shopping in SoHo. I bought two paires of really pretty shoes. Til tomorrow!

Hi all! Yesterday, I did not post my writing because it was short and I wrote about my family to practice so I did not want to publish it online, but today I am posting again! This week, I have been watching a lot of Outer Banks and the second season is incredible! I know that once I finish watching it, I will be more productive, but right now I can't stop! Now, I am watching the ninth episode before the finale. Anyway, yesterday I applied for a job in a lab. I received an interview for next week so I hope it goes well! I listened to the news in French to practice my listening skills. It is a bit difficult, but I know it will become easier with time and practice. I will try to listen to it daily to improve. It is interesting to hear what is going on in France anyway, so the news is very interesting for me. In less than a month, I will be moving into university! I am super excited and a bit nervous. I hope all goes well!

hello all! Last weekend, I was so busy. The weather was bad on Saturday so I was able to meet up with my friend whom I wrote about last time. We had a great time! We went shopping and ate in an amazing restaurant. I bought a pretty skirt to wear for an event this Friday. The weather was much better on Sunday so I went to a large part with my family. There was a farm with a lot of animals and beautiful scenery. After our walk, we went to eat in a restaurant and the food was really good. Then, we went walking around town and did a bit of shopping. We found a beautiful cafe, but we had already eaten a lot. In the evening, I did a video call with my university roommate and we talked for a few hours. It is possible that we'll call again this weekend. I did not study much French this weekend since I was busy, but this week I will study a lot!

Salut à tous! J’ai décidé de combiner mon écrit pour les jours 5 et 6 parce que hier était ennuyeux. En plus, maintenant je peux utiliser le plus-que-parfait pour raconter ma journée d' hier. Le matin je suis allé à la gym pour faire de l'exercice. Quand je suis rentrée chez moi, j’ai reçu un appel de mon ami. Elle a voulu demander si je pouvais la rencontrer pendant le week-end, mais j’avais déjà décidé de faire une excursion de bateau avec mes autres amis dans le week-end. J'espère que je pourrai voir mon ami avant de commencer l'université! Si le temps est mauvais, je pourrai annuler mon excursion de bateau et fais-le le week-end prochain et rencontrer mon ami ce week-end. Il faut que j’attende demain pour décider. Pour le moment, je suis très heureux parce que la deuxième saison de « Outer Banks » est sortie! J’ai hâte de le regarder plus tard! Bien que j'écrive en français seulement depuis quelques jours, je peux déjà voir l'amélioration (malgré le temps qu’il m’a fallu pour écrire cette dernière phrase.) J’écris certainement plus vite et il est plus facile pour moi de former des phrases. À demain!

Salut! Je ne peux pas croire que c'est le 4ème jour de mes écrits français! Aujourd’hui était un jour tranquille. Je suis très fatiguée parce que j'ai à peine dormi la nuit dernière. Ce soir, j’irai me coucher très tôt parce que j’ai beaucoup à faire demain. J’ai voulu aller à la plage demain, mais le temps sera mauvais donc je resterai chez moi. Je dois faire mes tâches ménagères et lire beaucoup de documents pour mes cours. Je voudrais faire une longue marche s’il ne fait trop mauvais demain. Plus tôt aujourd’hui, j’ai fini la deuxième saison de « Never Have I Ever » et j’ai beaucoup aimé ça! Plus tard, je reverrai le premier épisode de « Outer Banks » puisque la deuxième saison sort dans 2 jours et j’ai oublié la plupart. J’ai besoin de pratiquer des conjugations moins courantes comme plus-que-parfait donc je n’oublie pas mais je ne sais pas comment l'intégrer dans ces écrits. J'essaierai peut-être demain. Salut à tous! Le sujet de mon écriture aujourd’hui sont mes passe-temps. Cet été, je lis beaucoup de livres pendant mon temps libre. Maintenant, je lis le roman intitulé « Hummingbird Salamander » par Jeff Vandermeer avec mon roman en français. À part la lecture, je regarde des émissions sur Netflix. Pour améliorer mon français, je regarde des émissions avec sous-titres en français ou avec audio français. Je ne suis pas à niveau pour regarder une émission français sans sous-titres en anglais, mais j'espère en regarder un d’ici la fin d’été. Une autre façon dont je passer mon temps dans l’été est une activité sportif. J’aime beaucoup faire des promenades et aller à la gym. Enfin, quand je m’ennuie beaucoup, j’étudie pour mes cours qui commencent dans un mois.

Pour mon écrit en français aujourd’hui, j'ai décidé d'écrire sur mon emploi du temps qui commence en septembre.  Je planifie de prendre un cours de chimie avec un laboratoire, un cours de calcul intermédiaire, un cours de bioéthique, et un cours d'écriture. Bien sûr, je planifie aussi de prendre un cours de français avancé. Mon cours d’écriture se concentre sur le changement climatique. Je suis ravie d’en savoir plus! Je suis un peu nerveux pour mon cours de français parce que je ne sais pas si je peux réussir dans une classe avancée, mais je suis également ravi d’avoir été qualifié pour le niveau avancé. Pour me préparer pour ce cours, je lis un roman en français intitulé « Eleanor Oliphant va très bien ».  Ça va super et j’aime beaucoup l’histoire dans ce roman mais il y a 40 chapitres! J'espère que je finirai en temps. Maintenant, je regarde la deuxième saison de « Never Have I Ever » pour procrastiner mon travail. À demain!

Salut à tous! Aujourd’hui, je commence 30 jours d'écrit en français pour améliorer avant commencer ma classe en septembre. Mon niveau de lecture est bien meilleur que mon écriture parce que j’ai lu des livres en français tout l'été mais je n’ai pas beaucoup écrit. J'espère que mon niveau s'améliore au moins un peu dans ces 30 jours et que je commence à écrire plus vite. Si tu parle français, n'hésitez pas à me corriger! Je ne sais pas si je posterai mes écritures tous les jours, mais j’essayerai!
