Hey psycho, maybe you can help me out. I have a little "debate" with someone who said that the hands on the volume 10 cover
are not afos. At first he/she thought its mr compress, but I answered that the owner of the hands clearly wears a black suit jacket with a white shirt. Then he/she checked on wiki (I did too) and it says the hands belong to bakugou and kirishima and Im like.... that doesnt make fucking sense?! Why should bakugou hold himself on the cover? Why should the other hand over tomura look like that of a puppeteer if its bakugous or kirishimas? As far as I know it was never offically stated by hori or his editors who the owner of the hands are, but the fact that the person clearly wears a black suit and a white shirt, should be a giveaway who it is. Everyone can write whatever he wants on wiki and it states that the hands are "reaching out to each other" (sounds like a kiribaku wrote this) and Im just like "thats NOT what hands who reach out to each other look like!" Hori is a profi when it comes to drawing hands and he would never draw reaching out hands in such a weird angle. That hands belong to an adult, not a teenage boy. Both bakugous and kirishimas hands look completly different!
Do you happen to have more information of this and who the owner of the hands is?
1. The sleeves of the shirt and jacket.
2. The title of the volume “All-for-One”. Consequently, the key characters in the volume must be depicted on the cover. Tomura, Izuku, Katsuki... the black goo is a displacement effect that belongs to Afo's quirk; the Hands belong to the same.
3. The spine of the volume depicts a very nervous Aoyama, who turns out to be a traitor, indebted to Afo for his quirk.
4. Hand gestures: the upper hand seems to be controlling the doll. And if you put the strings down, they are directed at Tomura. And we all know that Tomura has been manipulated by Afo since he was a child. He's his puppet. The lower hand in the gesture is ambiguous: first, it is like an invitation; second, it is a gesture of stroking someone with tenderness with the back of the palm. And it is directed at Izuku's face. And according to DFO theory, it all fits together perfectly.
5. Katsuki. This is the stumbling block in this volume: he's Tomura's target, and he was clearly meant to be made by Nomu with the help of Afo himself. And Izuku broke the rules and ran to save his childhood friend. And Katsuki has black goo behind him, and according to Afo, he can move people with this quirk if he knows those people (personally) well enough.
6. Drawing Hands. Horikoshi has them all different. Only about blood relatives have them similar/exactly the same (genetics that Hori observes).
7. Kirishima has weight in the next volume, as he was the one to lend a hand for Katsuki. However, if it were Kirishima and Katsuki's hands, the gestures would have been different - a mutual handshake. Here, however, there are two different gestures. [And please note, Kirishima only has jacket sleeves, he doesn't have a shirt (because he's wearing a T-shirt)]
8. Returning to DFO theory, we can perfectly see here in the position of the hands that these hands want to crush Katsuki. In other words - in the DFO theory, Afo would gladly do this because of the boy's attitude for 10 years toward his son, who just wanted to be friends. Any loving parent desires happiness and good friends for his child; but if a parent finds out that someone is bullying his child, the parent is sure to take action. And if the child does not deal with it himself, the parent himself seeks to punish the bully.
