Seeing Tyler get so damn mischaracterized on social media PISSES ME OFFFFF like yes he is in love w her and hes done all this nice stuff for her and he really really likes her. Yes he tried to KILL HER multiple times. Tyler isn't a damn puppy hes made to seem like a stupid puppy towards her in s1 to throw off any suspicion about him being the Hyde. Yes he does have a soft spot for her but he isn't weak or defenseless or submissive with her and I just hate when people make him seem like some obedient submissive dog
He literally matches her so well because hes not?? He gives her a challenge and he tries her patience and insults her back. She likes tjat hes sharp tongued, unafraid of her, and doesn't force her to be normal.

Even if Tyler were a completely normal guy, I’m gonna be honest I’d still ship him with Wednesday.
The appeal of Wednesday and Tyler isn’t about twists or secrets to me, it’s that Tyler is just some guy who somehow understands her better than almost anyone outside her family. When you compare him to people like Enid or Xavier, it’s clear he gets her on a different level. He doesn’t try to fix her, soften her, or push her to be more “normal.” He just lets her be Wednesday. And more importantly, he likes her that way.
Tyler never treats her like a project or a puzzle that needs solving. He doesn’t want her to change who she is or apologize for it. He enjoys how unapologetically herself she is, and that’s such an underrated kind of affection. There’s something really powerful about a romance where one character is just a total lover who appreciates the other person exactly as they are, no conditions attached.
The cute barista boy falling for the goth girl everyone else finds weird, intimidating, or off-putting is inherently romantic to me. He sees her, appreciates her, and chooses her anyway not in spite of who she is, but because of it.
Like I’m not kidding, this show could’ve been set in a completely normal setting without the supernatural elements, and I’d still be shipping the hell out of Wednesday and Tyler. Sorry, but sometimes cute, simple romances really do it for me too. I love both cute, simple romances and complex ones, and Wednesday and Tyler are the perfect mix of both.
THIS !!! everyone around Wednesday always says the same thing when shes being her usual self "for once can't you just be normal?!" This is one thing Tyler NEVER says. Even when she didn't understand why he was upset at her for going to the Rave'n with Xavier he didn't shame her for not being normal, yeah he was upset and mad at her but he didn't tell her to be normal he EXPLAINED BLUNTLY what he thought because he knows emotional communication is not something Wednesday is very good at despite her many many skills.
He gets her. He LOVES her.
Tell me why Tyler was able to quickly shove Ajax—who’s only milliseconds away from taking off his beanie, but somehow didn’t so much as flinch when Wednesday said “say hello to your new master.”
But what’s really funny is not even his lack of retaliation, but the fact that this mf then WHIPPED his head back and growled when his mom interrupted them like “ISTG WHAT THE FUCK IS IT THIS TIME—”

I can't believe Tyler's feelings being fake was ever a narrative people believed in.
Like look at this:

You want me to believe a teenage boy crafted black and white popcorn buckets and made buckles to put cutlery in so they'd look like weapons for his crush enemy???
You want me to believe he sat for hours on end and painted the buckets stripe by stripe (and he didn't just make one bucket for wednesday, he made a matching bucket for himself too), cut the straps to exact sizes for the plates and cutlery, screwed the straps one by one, put up fairy lights in the entire crypt and set up a whole makeshift theatre to woo distract her??

I will die on the hill that is Wyler. There is no one better fit to hold Wednesday Addams heart than a psychologically broken, selfish, man eating, mass murdering creature of nightmares who also so happens to look like a basic white boy half the damn time.
People act like in the old Addams family content Mortica and Gomez don't enjoy a little torture and pain? I mean come on people. Wednesday lives for someone who can match her and she found it with Tyler.

So we gonna talk about the fact that Tyler must have spent DAYS at the hospital with them dead flowers waiting for her to wake up so he could wave at her? I love his dramatic ass
To then find out that he tries to kill her on the Day of the Dead, which is Wednesday's favorite day, and then she mentions
"he's a psychopath, but he's poetic."
She was fascinated with the details.
I know a lot of people are freaking out over Tyler potentially throwing Wednesday out a frickin window....
But is it wrong that all I can think about, is that is literally the type of insane story an Addams would tell their kids?
Like really picture it.
Wednesday and Tyler are talking to their teens about relationships.
Wednesday: You know, relationships are difficult I mean I got your dad locked up in a psychiatric hospital.
Tyler: And I threw your mother out a window, we called it even.
I want Tyler to hold the “generic looks” comment over Wednesday for the rest of their lives.
Like when they are making out and he just pulls away and says “do you still think I look generic?”
And when people ask what she sees in him, he’s shrugging and saying “idk man, it can’t be my looks.”
