As someone who’s been in fandom for over a decade, here is ONE rule you MUST follow. At ALL cost avoid hierarchy.
Establishing a hierarchy of any type is a a slippery slope that I’ve and so many others have fallen into. Never give anyone within a fandom position of power or authority over you and other people. It is absolute hell on earth within a fandom when it feels like your fandom is controlled by a single person and their cronies.
i don't think andre and assimilation died at all at the end of mcargbtpias
i'm crazy over this webseries so here's some lore relevant observations from canon that i haven't seen shared around much!
so this is the first thing, we see assimilation enter the cathedral and look at the windows! noticeably these seem to be made out of light source blocks and resemble the heads of some admins - full square and the gridman in particular. there are more symbols we have not seen, the barrier block icon specifically standing out.
we know that full square and the gridman both have something in common - they seem to know a lot! this is shown in the conversation between collin, zac and the gridman and the conversation between admin3 and admin4 at the end of mcargbtpias. admin3 asks admin4 whether the training is working, referring specifically to the time; admin4 replies mentioning that that is not the goal, implying admin3 originally had, or still does not have, the knowledge about this. meanwhile, admin6 seems to observe other worlds and place remote gorristers, which i think(??) implies his higher ranking by itself.
this makes us ask - how are the admins assigned? is the barrier block related to their leader, is there a barrier block admin? are they arranged by how much they know? (3<4<6)
what we do know is that the admins are all more than likely human, from admin6 talking about gmod and the way the admins describe andre and assimilation in their files in general.
another thing from this pair of screenshots is that when assimilation goes to the cathedral, the block above full square's window says "OFF". but when full square goes there in indox mode, it says "ON". it also says "ON" for several other icons in the place; the camera turns to show these windows to us, probably for a reason! i'm like 90% sure this is telling us about the other admins!!!
about indox mode itself, this definition is one of the only ones that i could find:

this, along with how the admins say "collect him", implies that even if andre and assim's physical forms are gone, their information and memories are extracted, and possibly stored or put back into them for future runs, ESPECIALLY andre's. not to mention assimilation mentioning they can't die way before this. they can easily be restored if there is a need for it.
and can i just mention the way the admins are portrayed as gods??? the cathedral? the windows having their faces? the windows being made out of LIGHT source blocks? the cathedral leading directly to where assim and andre were created?? THE RANDOM STRUCTURE POINTING AT THE SKY????
anyway WOW this turned out to be a long rant so i might split this up into more, feel free to comment anything else i missed here!

(One thing I find frustrating is that Hispanic and Latino/a actors are often absent even from fancasts for Dornish characters, despite Dorne drawing heavily from Iberian influences alongside others ie; Andalusia. Fandom discussions frequently emphasize Middle Eastern and South Asian aesthetics which are certainly part of the conversation but the Spanish and Mediterranean inspirations often end up being ignored completely. Feel free to slaughter me 10 different times if this is a bad take tho)
There's to many cool TMC artists that are really cool people but I'm scared to talk to them and I literally only draw traditional art so I'm just kinda lurking
