Hi! We're Pori, a system who loves to draw. What we love more or about as much as drawing, though, is sharing experiences! So, this blog is made to combine those two; And thus, dissociativedrawing was born! You'll see stick-figure comics that describe some stuff in our lives, whether it's the funny stuff or the not so funny stuff. We're here to make all plural communities feel accepted.
We don't really like telling people to dni. We also know that it just.. doesn't work one hundred percent of the time. But, if you're willing to listen to us, all we ask is that those who harass people don't interact. That's it. Whatever your stance is on origins other than traumagenic, we don't care, as long as you don't harass people about it.
We should also say that we are neutral on syscourse. We don't really take one side or another. Both sides can be very aggressive towards each other, so we've decided to keep it neutral here. We believe that DID, OSDD-1, and a lot of dissociative disorders in general are under researched; thus, it may be possible that systems can form for reasons other than trauma. Even based on our own experiences, we've had alters that did not form due to trauma but formed to please others, and that's just one example. However, we are not mental health professionals, so don't treat our word as the truth.
All in all, this blog wants to promote kindness and the ability to realize that other systems are not alone. So, if you need that, welcome! We're here to help.
As of right now, we will portray alters via sorting them by their role in the system. There's only one alter who will be portrayed as herself, and that's Mikan, our headspace nurse. Unless we find more nurses, she will be represented as herself, and not in a category.
Guide to our portrayals under the cut!
