Japanese layout of the US naval base at Pearl Harbor

Series of five impressive photographs document an engagement at Polgardi on 23 December 1944. Covering each other, the tanks rush through the town without adequate infantry support. Suddenly, the lead tank-Tiger 133-is hit from the left by a hidden antitank gun. The hit kills the driver and radio operator. These pictures were taken by Unteroffizier Lochmann, the driver of the company commander’s tank.
