A script for an upcoming Devourer Amy [my Sonic.EXE take of sorts] comic! Day The Devourer Awoken
[ tried to completely revamp the backstory of hers, feel free to give it a read, all those pages will be at some point converted into some form of visual/comic so we'll finally see if I have what it takes to make a story myself and accompany it with visuals that make for a good character take! Aka: I wasn't happy with the 15 paged backstory I lined haha- ]
Page 1 -
A crew of a few mobians stand in the middle of the forest, Sonic, being their leader. Other members include: Tails, Knuckles and Amy.
Sonic: "Alright, team, we're looking for an emerald or something- it should be roughly the size of a small coin⦠Apparently it can also glow and if you use some specific devices, it even emits energy!- or something like that-"

Tails: "That's right! We must hurry though, we know very little about these gems, only that Robotnik really wants them!"
Page 3 -
Sonic: "Trueβ¦ though let's be honest, Egghead can just melt them into some lens for a better laser and burn a forest down to make way for whatever he's planningβ¦Anyway, we got to split into 4 individual teams and look for the emerald, so [Panel 2] I hope Amy has her hammer, [panel 3] Knuckles hasβ¦had his cardio? [panel 4] And Tails his gadgets, cuz I wouldn't want you to get missing now!"

Amy and Knuckles silently agree, though it can be seen that Amy wishes to ask a few questions, but will rather not say a thing, a second panel of this silent part will include everyone splitting into a different part of the forest.

Amy will walk through the forest as her thoughts project onto the screen, Amy throughout this has a more worriless smile on her face {He's always looking out for us, even if we're treated as equals! I can't really blame himβ¦ ever since that egg guy began terrorizing the planet, everyone started to disappear one by oneβ¦ he apparently holds them for interrogation purposes and after they're useless, he'd use someβ¦weird gadget that would make us his mindless slavesβ¦ at least that's what Cream said before we rescued herβ¦apparently these drones do manual labor or are converted into a more android look to fullfill some specific tasks for Robotnik. I blame myself, honestlyβ¦ If I looked any further we probably could've find Vanilla and although Cream doesn't blame me one bitβ¦ I will not rest until I will reunite them again!} (possible visuals divided into 2 more pages could be made)

4 panels, each divided by members of the individual teams, Sonic scouting on a Tree, Tails holding a radar looking gadget with a troubled look, Knuckles climbing on a bigger tree to get a visual and Amy wandering through the forest with something glowing in the distance.
Page 9 -
Amy finds what seems to be the described gem. It is blood red and glows against Amy's brighter pink, creating a magenta coloring. In a second panel she reaches it and takes it. a third panel from a side or behind we can see someone is following her as the hue is yellow. (Mecha Sonic's visor)

Mecha Sonic Mk.II who didn't noticed the gem and only Amy stands behind Amy who seems happy at first, in the second panel her expression changes to a more angry look
Page 11 -
She takes her hammer, swinging at Mecha and thus pushing him a bit back to get some distance between the two in the 2nd panel. in the 3rd panel she presses something to call for help as with 4th panel we see Sonic alerted.
Page 12 -
Sonic, nervous rushed to the location of the alarm, but upon getting there in the 2nd panel⦠nothing except Amy's hammer is there. Sonic looking stressed out calls to the team:
"Guys, abort mission, they got Amy, I repeat, they got Amy! Regroup, we need to find her!"
Page 13 -
Amy wakes up to the sight of [2nd panel] Metal Sonic, not Mecha this time, Metal Sonic has been there, sitting and watching Amy [3rd panel] who looks confused. [4th panel] Someone calls to her, with her looking more nervous.
"Ah good, you're awakeβ¦! Almost thought Mecha took the life out of you, but seems like he simply put you to sleep before you could even reactβ¦"

Robotnik entered the cell in 1st panel and sat down on a chair in the 2nd.
3rd panel:
"I'm sure you know the drill. Your little rabbit friend told you most likely how this goes so let me put it simpleβ¦ if you tell me where to find your friends' little base, I will let you go and live your life under my reign orβ¦you will be glad to accept this offer by the time I come back..!"

Robotnik leaves with:
"I'll be sure to ask you every day, in case you'd change your mindβ¦I'm a genius, not a monster after allβ¦!"
panel 3, Amy looks speechless/frozen, wondering why is Metal there with her until he seemingly got up, and left in the 4th panel.
Page 16 -
Sonic is looking around, passing through 4 different locations on each panel, talking with Tails:
1st panel Sonic: "We gotta find Amy, we can't lose another one!"
1st panel Tails: "I'm working on locating nearby Robotnik's bases, but.."
2nd panel Sonic: "What is it, Tails?"
2nd panel Tails: "None of them shows signs of organic life!"
3rd panel Sonic: "Why would he take her somewhere else?!"
3rd panel Tails: "I'm not sure! I think he wants informationβ¦"
4th panel Sonic: "So he hid her far where we wouldn't lookβ¦" Sonic looks visibly saddened or stressed
4th panel Tails: "I'm afraid soβ¦"

day laterβ¦
Amy seems still a bit frozen and seems to be lost in thought, given the collar on her neck and the fact she stands at an assembly line in the 2nd panel that's zoomed out

a week laterβ¦
Amy seems weakened, her quills are messy and her colors are lightly faded with her starring at a plate of food Eggman holds to himself. She hasn't seen food since the day she was captured and Eggman knows this, that's why in the 3rd panel he smiled "If you wish to have a meal like the rest, you know what to do! Uncle Robotnik's always a call awayβ¦!"

2nd week laterβ¦
Amy is looking at the gem in her hands
"at this point I'd even eat a rock just to have SOMETHINGβ¦ This is excruciating! Where could they be? They wouldn't forget about meβ¦would theyβ¦? Of course they wouldn'tβ¦ what am I thinking?! I'm too weak to even attempt escape thoughβ¦ all I'm good for now is that assembly and manually assemble whatever Robotnik is buildingβ¦"

Eggman sees her through cameras
"Is thatβ¦it's not a Chaos Emerald, but it isβ¦ something with a high energy, it's comparable to a Chaos Emerald, but it's smaller and blood redβ¦maybe a phantom Ruby? No, of course not."
3rd panel, showing a panel of one of his stolen journal pages that shows this gem as a Dark Stone.
[Stone that grants a wish to the user, but unlike the 7 Chaos Emeralds, Dark Stone comes with a price. Corruption. Dark Stone shifts it's user gradually as the number of uses has yet to reach a limit. Apparently it's energy is infinite just like Chaos Emerald, the only difference is the size and the coloring AND their documented numbers. Apparently Dark Stone is but one.]

Eggman talks to himself:
"Fascinatingβ¦I knew it couldn't be tied to a few bundle of gems, but a Dark Stone is a really dark breakthrough! You cannot corrupt an evil genius such as myself after all! What would you corrupt me with? My own ambitions? BWAHAHAHA! That's a good one! Butβ¦ if Amy believes it's a Chaos Emerald, it's only good, because she won't believe she can use it! PERFECT!"

Eggman is strolling through his baseβ¦ [panel 2] looking at the Earth from the orbit?! [panel 3] Eggman smiles, visual is through the glass on the station. [Panel 4] Eggman is smiling with a cut in the middle of Sonic looking through on the planet "Everything is coming out nicelyβ¦!"

Day 16. Amy seems indifferent now, at an assembly line in panel 1, at panel 2 she's holding some scrap in the line, in panel 3 she's returning back to her cell, in panel 4 she's lying down.

Eggman opens the door in the first panel
"Time's up! I know you have itβ¦"
Amy in second panel looks like she have seen a ghost
"huh�!"
Eggman enters the room in third panel
"The Chaos Emerald of course! There's no reason to struggle, I know you wouldn't be able to overpower even a wooden plank! You were once a powerhouse with Knuckles, butβ¦hunger is a real nasty customer when it starts gnawing on your muscles!"

Eggman extends his hand
" I will count to 3β¦"
2nd panel, Amy is looking at the Dark Stone while "one" was counted
3rd panel, Amy looks at Eggman who counts "two" already
4th panel, Amy looks more determined than ever this past 16 days with Eggman counting "Threeβ¦"

"Time's u- HUH?!"
Eggman said while seeing Amy eat the Dark Stone.
Panel 2, Amy's hue changed to white as she froze.
panel 3, Eggman ran away and in the hallway says "Is the raw energy going to rip this station apart?!"
panel 4, bright light is coming from Amy's opened cell
Page 27 - Metamorphosis
panel 1 to panel 2 her teeth rapidly sharpen with quills changing form and color to a more magenta one.
panel 3 to 4, her frail and weak body gained musculature and compensated for her withering body by adding onto her weight somewhere around what she once had, of course not even Amy remembers how she looked like so the Dark Stone basically winged that calculation.
panel 5 to 6, red rings of energy spun around her arms below shoulders and above wrists

Amy looked around confused, [2nd panel] from her POV we can see her looking at her hands that have claws on them
Page 29 -
Eggman is commanding his units
"Alright, I miscalculated the will and defiance of Sonic's close friend⦠Metal Sonic, Mecha Sonic, dispose of her immediately before the raw Dark Stone energy blows this ship sky high! I will evacuate and I hope to see a positive report soon!"
Eggman in the second panel leaves
Page 30 -
Amy is wandering around the station, confused
"I- what happened?! I-β¦felt a lot of pain and now it's all goneβ¦ I remember being captured byβ¦it's all so foggy, why can I see the images of what happened, but not remember the full contextβ¦?! It'sβ¦bizarreβ¦"
in the 3rd panel Mecha Sonic Mk.II stands before her and Amy looks shocked
"I remember you! You-β¦" Amy narrowly dodged a punch from Mecha in the 4th panel with her only saying "Hey!"

"You can't just attack for no re-" Narrowly dodges in the second panel again
"alright, that's it!" she then charges at Mecha Sonic MK.II

The punch sent him flying through multiple walls in 2 panels
"Wha?! I did that�" panel 3

Amy got jumped by Metal Sonic who she dodges.
"Metalβ¦Sonic! I remember you! Youβ¦you were niceβ¦" Metal Sonic stopped himself in panel 2 and in panel 3 they both stood in front of each other

"Wait, you're sparing me?" Amy asked and Metal didn't answered. Mecha Sonic in the meantime got back, looking at Amy.
Page 35 -
Mecha Sonic was to punch Amy, but Metal caught the punch in his hand. Metal Sonic just like in original iteration is made up entirely of Sonic's data, but this Sonic is much more willing to risk his life for his friends and Metal Sonic has that burned into his code as well, that's why in another panel he punched through Mecha's visor when he held him in place

"Iβ¦I don't know what to sayβ¦! Thank you! I-"
Metal Sonic points to a nearest exit.
"Right right, on itβ¦! Thank you again!"
Amy runs off
Page 37 - Amy is rushing through the base, going to Eggman's now empty office and opens the cells with a button and presses an evacuation alarm button to signal to the prisoners to run.
Page 38 - Amy got to an escape pod with 2 Mobians following her and asking if they may join
"Wellβ¦sure! There's a room for all of you!"
And so the pod launches
Page 39 -
Amy sits with her thoughts, but one ate at her mind for a longer while now, an illusion of hunger, Dark Stone's messing with her perception of her newfound power. Although she's pushing it aside, she does look at the Mobians with a thought of [I can't let hunger get the better of me, I can have food back at home, we're already close!] And that's how she pushed the 1st attempt at corruption aside.
Page 40 -
Sonic's running across the zones, seeing pods flying from the sky like a slower meteor shower! "Uhhhh Tailsβ¦I think throughout this timeβ¦we forgot to look above us for Amyβ¦!"
Page 41 - Mobians are evacuated with Amy in the 2nd panel laying in the grass
"Iβ¦I'm out! I'm back on the ground and all's well..! It's all over!"

Amy wandered through the zones again, speeding up, she seems to be much faster than she ever was before, celebrating
"I'm finally freeeee!!!" With tears of joy forming as she ran until she was stopped in panel 3 when standing in front ofβ¦Sonic!
before Amy could say a word, Sonic instinctively hugged Amy in panel 4, with her surprised!

Sonic: "I was worried we'd never see you again, Amesβ¦you really gave us all quite the scareβ¦! Oh myβ¦I must've ran too fast, I lost the communicator with Tails, he'd be super happy hearing your voice again tooβ¦!"
Amy: "Sonic? Is that really you�" [He forgot about you.] "huh? Who said it?!"
Sonic: "Who said what? Amy are you alright? You- woah, you look different! Looking cool there, Amy!"
Page 44 -
Amy: "Oh? Hehehe, thank you Sonic!" [He left you behind.] "huhβ¦? No he wouldn'tβ¦!"
Sonic looks confused
Amy: [He left you to die alone.] "Sonic would never do thatβ¦!" [Then why he hasn't found you in 16 days? Fastest thing alive. Couldn't find poor Amy Rose.]
Page 45 -
Darkness surrounds Amy deep in thought.
[You were left to rot while he and his friends focused more on beating Robotnik than to get you out.]
"Noβ¦he wouldn't leave me behind, you don't know Sonicβ¦!"
[I know your every thought. What I say is what you thought at least once in those 16 days. Look at him. So happy to see you as if he didn't expected you to ever return. He already gave up on you.]
"But Sonic would neverβ¦"
[Are you saying this because you feel something for him this whole time? Is your judgement really blinded by this SENTIMENT he doesn't even share for you?! He doesn't care if you live or die, how is he better than Robotnik, hm?]
"I-Iβ¦I know he's not like thatβ¦! He's better than Robotnik, you're just messing with me-"
[Oh really? Why were you the only one starving and exhausted? Why would you all split if he knew what threats loomed the forest? Why wouldn't his buddies not consider one of Robotnik's strongest bases?! Now he escaped and this fool is trying to act surprised when all he's ever done was leave you behind. Remember the times you wished to talk to Sonic, remember the times where you shown nothing but kindness, but all he did was run away from the thought that you might have developed feelings for the Blue Blur. Doesn't it gnaw on your head that every time you invited him to relax, to ease his worries and enjoy some time with friends he swayed you to the side? Ever since you two were little he's done nothing but evaded you. Ignored you. Took you for granted and for what? So that you'd end up in Robotnik's hands and almost die because of your devotion to him? How is he better than Robotnik after all this? You know this is true. What I said⦠are your own thoughts, memories.]
Page 46 -
"Sonic⦠where were you when I needed you?"
Amy asked, her heart aching from the feelings of betrayal, abandonment.
Sonic: "Amyβ¦we were looking for you this whole time! We didn't counted on Egghead to take you to the fleet instead of a ground base..!"
[He's lying.] Amy: "Really�"
Sonic: "Of course, Amy! Tails had to force me to sleep, because even if I was exhausted, sleeping as I ranβ¦I would've gone through the caves and every rock on the planet to find youβ¦!" Sonic extended his arms to offer Amy a hug.
Page 47 -
Amy accepted and hugged Sonic with tears running down her cheeksβ¦tears of sorrow.
"Iβ¦I don't believe youβ¦" [I don't believe you.]
And before Sonic could react Amy bit into Sonic's neck like a predator would his prey.

Amy sat in silence above Sonic's laying body.
[You wish to believe you weren't right, don't you? Savor him. Let there be no trace of Sonic The Hedgehog left. You loved himβ¦you still love him. keep a part of him. Devour the rest. After allβ¦you are starving this whole time, aren't you?]
Page 49 -
[Good. Good. You are able to control your powers better. You areβ¦complete. You hid your part of Sonic and ate the rest. You now see how they all saw you this whole time. As a freak obsessed with Sonic, even after you all grew up from blinding emotions. They still saw you as a Sonic obsessed freak than a friend. At leastβ¦ they will know soon they weren't all wrong, yes?]
"β¦hehβ¦funny that you sound exactly like Sonicβ¦now be silentβ¦"
[Wha-] link between Amy's inner demon and Amy severed on a thought, although too late, this would've easily severed the corruption. Not like she could know before it was too late.
