@masonxashxx I’ve got you covered
In terms of fire extinguishers we’ve got a few varieties that handle different classifications of fire:
Water, water mist, water spray (variants of different pressure varieties and amount sprayed), foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, and wet chemical
Classifications of fires are as follows:
Combustible carbon based solids, ex: paper, wood, textiles - recommended extinguishers: water, water mist, foam, dry powder, wet chemical
Flammable liquids, ex: paraffin, petrol, diesel, oil (non cooking) - recommend extinguishers: water mist, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, wet chemical
Flammable gasses, ex: butane, propane, methane - recommended extinguishers: water mist, dry powder
Burning metals, ex: aluminum, lithium, magnesium - recommend extinguishers: specialist dry powder
Not directly listed as Class E, however, it does functionally take up that portion in the list. These are classified by electrical equipment based fires - recommended extinguishers: dry powder, carbon dioxide
Fats and cooking oils, typical kitchen fire - recommended extinguishers: water mist, wet chemical
In terms of Flambae’s powers, at baseline material wise, I’ve determined his base of material is a glycerol chemical compound in his sweat which auto ignites on his skin with its continual production of the compound off of his caloric intake. The best extinguisher to use on him would be dry powder as it smothers fires by coating fuel and interrupting the chemical reaction of combustion. It’s the most versatile of the extinguishers as it works for Class A, B, C, and electrical fires. Following its usage it will leave behind a messy, corrosive residue which should later be sanitized as needed
PSA (pussy safety announcement) always read your fire extinguishers as they’ll have more info on classifications as well as best usage if you’re unsure in the moment and remember to practice fire safety always
