So @dirtydancyart and I were talking about the world they created in which Eskel is a biker, Geralt got involved with Emhyr in some underground shady stuff. Then I came along with this in which Cahir is technically Emhyr’s enforcer but keeps getting mistaken for Ciri’s nanny. Long story short, we wanted some hurt/comfort, some Cahir getting kidnapped and hurt, some Eskel coming to the rescue like a badass. Thus, here we are.

CW: Torture, blood, injuries.

The most incredible @dirtydancyart drew this Eskel. Not only is their art absolutely incredible, but they are also an absolute sweetheart and have given me permission to write a little Cahir/Eskel in light of the Nilfgaardian star tattoo on Eskel’s hand.

Sometimes Geralt was a lazy ass. He couldn’t be bothered to roll out of bed and return a bag to the rightful owner. Well, so maybe it wasn’t the bag that was the issue but rather the content. But if the guns had been so important to Geralt and Emhyr then they could have exchanged them when they had one of their “strategy meetings”. Everyone in the inner circle knew the only meeting they had there was that of skin on skin. Grumbling to himself, Eskel pulled up his bike in front of an innocuous suburban house. It looked almost picturesque were it not for the fact that there was a poor decorator coating the porch in turquoise.

“Can I help you?” The decorator called over and Eskel looked at him appreciatively. Small, easy smile, well built, strangely ageless and Eskel found him quite aesthetically pleasing. Definitely one of those faces that looks familiar 

“Just here to drop something off, is the owner in?”

“I can take it for you.” A hand extended and Eskel guiltily pulled the bag away with a small shake of his head. He wasn’t going to give the bag to anyone other than Geralt’s contact who had a ridiculously long name. Absolutely the name of the kind of person who would pay someone to paint his porch turquoise.

“I’ll just knock on the door and wait, it’s okay.”

There was a hint of mischief to the decorator’s eyes as he shrugged. “Sure. But I promise I can take it now.”
