   Darting past the trees the pre-teen listened for anything that could even possibly be the green other. Unlike  many other humans, he didn’t even mean any harm to the other - he just wanted to know the truth -- the truth about what was out there.                       sliding pasted the other; his                      eyes narrowed, voice raising,

She hadn’t even considered that as an option. How long had it even  been since she’d spend the night under a roof? Dipper’s offer left the girl uncharacteristically speechless.
