Hello Yumeshipping Tumblr Community, I'd like to discuss a debate that the Tiktok community has been pretty rude about, I am here to hear opinions, but please be respectful!
Yumeshipping with Minecraft Mobs, Okay or not?
I want to share my thoughts about this first, being that it depends heavily on the mob.
For Example, Endermen speak english. And are heavily theorized to have once been humans.
Piglins also speak English as shown in the Minecraft movie. So there isn't an argument it's limited to Humanoid mobs.
Piglins and Endermen seem pretty clearly okay to me, but I'd like to hear thoughts about other, more ambiguous mobs. Like Creepers, Wardens, Allays, Slimes, Shulkers, Phantoms etc.
Personally, I wouldn't really judge anyone who Yumeships with these mobs, Since they aren't really animal-like.
But there are mobs like Endermite or Striders which are pretty animal-like. And than some that are just straight up fictional animals, Like Sniffers. Which I think is weird to Yumeship with. (ESPECIALLY the more animal-like ones.)
That last line came out weird but idk how to fix it rn
Again, I really just want to hear opinions about this!
Also this is all coming from someone who's put WAYY too much thought into where mobs go on the Harkness test because I have an overly developed Minecraft AU.
I don't really have anything to bring to the conversation since I agree with everything you said... however I feel like I have to mention this masterpiece
