It’s a soup kind of day, y’all. We’re turning #tacotuesday🌮 into #tacosouptuesday 🙌. It may be ⛄️💨⛄️outside, but it’s 🔥#warm and toasty in my kitchen. I’m fortunate that I don’t have to travel anywhere today, but I will be saying a little prayer or two for those who do. Thank you to our road departments, highway crews and law enforcement personnel for working to make it safe for all of us. You are appreciated. One of my favorite ways to combat winter’s dry air is with this small slow cooker. I keep I going almost all of the time and scent the water with some of my favorite essential oils. It definitely makes a difference, I believe. Right now it’s scented with just enough lavender to give just a hint —I don’t care for heavily scented rooms. (They can be so overpowering, y’all. #justsaying) How do you manage winter’s dry air?

Grandmothers are made for chaos ❤️ You finally realize that a perfectly arranged and spotless house is so overrated. Better to have an unmade bed and wet towels scattered about along with lots of hugs and kisses. I’ll just treasure this view as long as I can. My #duckhunters are in the fields early on this frigid morning with smiles on their faces and excitement in their hearts. I love that they love it so. #blessings #duckslayer
