Mask would IMMEDIATELY feel around his eye sockets out of sheer curiosity.

Flex his digits one by one, looking at his hands and feeling how solid they were in comparison to his soft plush hands..

And LASTLY-

Eat food. He's never had real food before.

While he may not approve of their explorations, he could understand them easily enough. He wasn’t built like monster monsters, not even to skeleton monster standards. His bones were soft rather than cold and hard. His right socket felt like melted wax, while the left socket was the same texture of every other part of his body.

Meanwhile, as for what Merlot has to deal with:

Merlot would get to experience the joy of having no bones in his new body! As well as fully functioning depth perception.

Not to mention all those cotton organs that now fill his once-empty chest!
