Scooter sales in Zhenjiang. People who ride these follow only their own rules, and we learned to be careful around them.

I'm at home sick today, thinking about Jinshan Park, another of the three famous parks in Zhenjiang. This one has a particularly large temple complex, and, like everywhere else in China, you can rent electric boats.

Market in Zhenjiang. I was told that grandparents who live with their children would come to markets like these to get fresh food before each meal. In the back they had live ducks and chickens. Between 11:00 and 2:30 the place went completely dark and deserted while the vendors rested, and it was a little eerie then to walk past the animal cages and meat tables.
