head pervert in charge

arber is canadian, his parents immigrated from kosovo and the czech republic respectively, and met in hamilton ontario which is where arber is from. he has a younger brother named florian (21) (arber is 25) who plays for the laval rocket (mtl's ahl affiliate). florian and arber currently live together in mtl!! they came to this decision after arber offered, knowing how hard it is to live alone early in your career, and florian agreed after realizing that he could commute easily to practice games etc.

we could spend a lot of time debating and analyzing arber's hockey skills (or lack thereof) but it sort of comes down to this: arber has very little ice time. he was sat for many games. he's deeply dedicated to his team as a vibes man and enforcer. is he fast? no. is he a playmarker? probably not. do people leave smaller defenders and forwards alone when he's on the ice? yeah, pretty much. his positioning on the team is... difficult. and a bit up in the air right now, as many people think a trade is on the horizon--from my pov he's sort of in a lose-lose situation. either he stays on with the team he's always played with, with the guys he loves, and struggles to develop with very little ice time, or he moves to a different org where he only has the CHANCE to be played more and continue to develop. its hard to say which is better for him, and even harder to say what he might want.

outside of hockey, arber has a girlfriend (named stephanie) and maybe a million cheating allegations to go along with their relationship. do with that what you will. i think of arber as someone who's demanding, possessive, and obsessive when it comes to sex. he seems slutty and bad with commitment but also has committed in order to prove to himself (or maybe others?) that he can. (i have a source for this but im not sharing. just trust me.)

arber is also good buddies with juraj slafkovsky!! arber's name is albanian but he was born in canada and his parents immigrated from two different countries--but as far as i can tell he has some ability to understand juraj speaking slovak due to language similarities to czech, which i assume his mother speaks, and maybe arber responds in czech and juraj can also understand? mostly speculation there.

if you hear about his time at costco, yes he did work there for a while in between his time in the ohl and the nhl. there is a pic of him in the vest with "wi-fi" on his nametag--which people have a lot to say about, i certainly don't like it as a nickname, and i believe arber prefers arbs/X as a nickname. there's that vid of him and cole discussing nicknames on the team where he might bring this up.

general stuff i think about him: he talks constantly, he loves getting guys hype, he likes drinking, he makes massive insane playlists that make no sense (this i know for a fact. no i will not be leaking my source.), he's obviously hyper-masculine and probably has a lot of weird (read: hot) hang-ups about gender, but he also has a sister and a very involved mother so maybe they taught him better. he's protective and obviously violent, but as he ages he gets more and more picky about the fights he gets into. i dont have a source for him being bad at videogames (other than him refusing to play minecraft) but i believe deep in my heart he is bad at chel. i bet he likes drugs and having threesomes (hi montreal rumor mill can you get me proof that juraj and arber pick up girls together thank you) and im convinced he was very personally impacted by the stripper strike in mtl.
