But in a series with such emphasis on fate, destiny, on a cycle repeating again and again, on three soulmates (and just in a romantic way) destined to meet and fight in each of their lives, there is something poetic about a soulmate that sometimes...takes another path.

Makes a different choice. Chooses a different person. Creates something new. With a person who started as the Enemy, no less.

With that out of the way, let’s talk about Hunter and Luz’s story arc. And yes, I mean ‘story arc’ as in singular, because their stories are inextricably intertwined. (Major spoilers ahead, obviously.)
