Name: Succarath
Alternate Names: Su,
Mythology: Patagonian Mythology (South American)
Size: Large
Environment: Jungles, Dark Forests, Jungle Mountains
In Mythika: Bizarre psychic fae-beasts that many believe to be chimerae but no-one can really say which animals were used in this vile creation. Succarath look like mere beasts but they are very cunning, cruel and intelligent creatures that sacrifice their own numerous young to enhance their psychic abilities. When they devour their own young the Succarath enhances their psychic, telepathic and telekinesis abilities to a maximum level, doing great damage to their prey, enemies, attackers and just random creatures they love to torture. They get young very often and don’t need a mate to produce them, their mind just spontaneously spawns new young if others are eaten. Their young look very different and strange from elder Succarath and it is a mystery how they mature as most of them end up as psychic boosts for their parents. The eyes of Young Succarath can’t stand the sun rays, so their parents giant tail protects them from it, as blind young can’t fuel their psychic needs. Succarath are very selfish creatures, only they can hurt and eat their own young, anyone that touches or attacks their young will get their full psychic rage over them.
