The Video That Almost Broke Us
Long-distance relationships were cruel.
They stole hugs, lazy afternoons, random coffee dates, and every little moment that couples took for granted.
Dating Sae Itoshi meant learning to live with a six-hour time difference and a phone screen.
Still...
You never complained.
Because every "Good morning" text from Spain and every late-night video call made the distance worth it.
What you didn't know...
...was that Sae had finally reached his limit.
He was done counting days until he could see you again.
Done pretending a screen was enough.
Done acting like he wasn't desperately in love with you.
His manager had already found a luxurious penthouse in Spain.
He had already looked into the best colleges you could attend.
He had already bought a ring.
Everything was ready.
Tomorrow.
Tomorrow he'd ask you to move to Spain with him.
Tomorrow he'd finally admit that the calm, composed football genius everyone admired was hopelessly obsessed with one person.
You.
...
Meanwhile...
You were peacefully scrolling through your phone.
A harmless evening.
A few cat videos.
Some recipes you would never cook.
Blue Lock edits.
Then...
A thumbnail.
A Gacha Life video.
The title made you snort.
"Sae Itoshi Is Pregnant By Shidou Ryusei?! 😱💔"
"...Excuse me?"
Curiosity won.
You clicked.
Three minutes later...
You stared at your screen in complete silence.
"..."
"What... did I just watch?"
The video itself was ridiculous.
You almost laughed.
Actually...
You did laugh.
For exactly five seconds.
Then you opened the comments.
That was your mistake.
Thousands.
Tens of thousands.
«"THEY BELONG TOGETHER!!"»
«"BEST SHIP EVER!"»
«"Anyone else can leave."»
«"They're basically married."»
«"Soulmates."»
Your smile slowly disappeared.
You knew it wasn't real.
You knew they were fictional characters.
You knew fans were allowed to ship whoever they wanted.
So...
Why did your heart hurt?
"...I'm stupid."
You locked your phone.
"I'm literally jealous of comments."
You rubbed your face, letting out the world's most defeated sigh.
"Nope."
"I'm never telling him this."
He would think you had lost your mind.
Because honestly...
You thought so too.
...
That night...
Your phone rang.
Sae.
You answered immediately.
His face appeared on your screen.
Fresh out of training.
Hair still slightly damp.
Looking as unreadable as always.
"You look tired," he said.
"I'm okay."
"Liar."
"..."
"You smiled."
"Fake smile."
"..."
"You've been staring at the bottom left corner of your screen for the last minute."
"..."
"I know your habits."
You blinked.
"That's terrifying."
"I know."
"..."
"So?"
"So what?"
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
He looked at you for a long moment.
"...You're a terrible liar."
"I'm actually a fantastic liar."
"No."
"You blink too much."
"..."
"...Seriously?"
"You've blinked twenty-two times."
"You counted?!"
"I always count."
You laughed despite yourself.
For a second...
Everything felt normal again.
Until...
His eyes narrowed.
"...Show me your phone."
"What?"
"Your phone."
"No."
"..."
"No."
"Why?"
"Because."
"..."
His expression didn't change.
It somehow became even calmer.
"...Something on your phone upset you."
"No."
"You just looked at it."
"..."
"You looked guilty afterward."
"..."
"...Fine."
With the biggest sigh imaginable, you shared your screen.
"...Don't laugh."
"I won't."
"...Promise?"
"I don't make promises."
"...You're impossible."
You opened the video.
Three minutes later...
Silence.
Complete silence.
Sae watched the entire thing without a single expression.
Then...
He scrolled.
Comment after comment.
Ship edits.
Marriage jokes.
Pregnancy jokes.
People insisting he belonged with someone else.
His thumb stopped moving.
"..."
"...Sae?"
Nothing.
"...Sae?"
His eyes slowly lifted to yours.
"...This..."
His voice was frighteningly calm.
"...Made you cry?"
You looked away.
"...It wasn't the video."
"..."
"It was..."
You laughed awkwardly.
"...The comments."
"..."
"I know it's dumb."
"..."
"I know they're fictional."
"..."
"I know it's just people having fun."
"..."
"But..."
You swallowed.
"...Seeing thousands of people saying you belong with someone else..."
"..."
"...It just..."
"...hurt."
The room fell silent.
You waited for him to call you ridiculous.
Childish.
Overdramatic.
Instead...
He closed the video.
Then quietly asked,
"...Do you really think strangers get to decide who I belong to?"
"...No."
"Then why didn't you ask me?"
"I..."
"...Because I was embarrassed."
"You were crying alone over this."
"..."
"And instead of telling me..."
"..."
"...You apologized to yourself."
Your chest tightened.
"...I'm sorry."
He sighed.
Not an annoyed sigh.
A tired one.
"...I was going to wait until tomorrow."
You frowned.
"Wait for what?"
He disappeared from the camera.
You heard drawers opening.
Footsteps.
Then...
He returned.
Holding a tiny velvet box.
"..."
Your brain stopped working.
"Sae..."
"I bought this two weeks ago."
He opened it.
A simple silver ring.
"I already found us a place in Spain."
"..."
"I already talked to my manager."
"..."
"I already looked into the colleges."
"..."
"I already planned everything."
"..."
"The only thing left..."
His voice softened.
"...was asking if you'd come."
Tears blurred your vision.
"I hate long distance."
"I hate pretending video calls are enough."
"I hate waking up without you."
"I hate sleeping without hearing you complain about your day."
His eyes never left yours.
"I'm obsessed with you."
"I think about you during training."
"After training."
"Before matches."
"After matches."
"I count the days until I see you."
"I count your blinks."
"I know when you're fake smiling."
"I know when you're hiding something."
"I know when you're trying to protect me from your own feelings."
He took a slow breath.
"So..."
He held the ring toward the camera with the smallest smile.
"...Come to Spain."
"...Stay with me."
"...Let me be selfish."
"...Please."
You didn't even realize you were crying until tears landed on your hands.
"...Yes."
His shoulders relaxed for the first time in months.
"...Good."
"...That's all?"
"...What?"
"I just accepted your proposal!"
"You did."
"...And?"
"...I'm happy."
"...You're impossible."
"I know."
You laughed through your tears.
"So..."
"You were really jealous over a Gacha video."
"...Don't."
"I'm going to."
"I'll hang up."
"You won't."
"..."
"...You're right."
The next morning...
The internet exploded.
Sae Itoshi, a man who almost never posted anything personal, uploaded exactly one photo.
Two hands intertwined.
A silver ring catching the morning sunlight.
The caption contained only three words.
"Already taken."
The comments descended into complete chaos.
Some congratulated him.
Some screamed.
Some apologized for ever assuming anything.
You looked at the post.
Then at the man sitting beside you, sipping coffee like he'd done nothing extraordinary.
"...You really posted that."
He glanced up.
"They were wrong."
"..."
"So I corrected them."
"...That's it?"
"That's it."
You laughed so hard you nearly spilled your coffee.
He reached over, intertwined his fingers with yours again, and squeezed your hand.
Quietly.
Firmly.
As if reminding the whole world...
You were exactly where you belonged.

Who Let This Green-Eyed Kitty Out?! 🐈💚part:-6(1,2,3,4,5)
The next morning...
You woke up to complete silence.
"..."
That was suspicious.
Very suspicious.
You slowly sat up.
"...Sae?"
No answer.
"...Rin?"
Nothing.
You stepped into the living room.
"..."
"..."
"...Why is it so quiet?"
Then you saw them.
Rin was asleep on the couch.
One arm hanging over the edge.
Completely unaware...
That tiny Sae was sitting on the bookshelf directly above him.
Watching.
Calculating.
Planning.
"..."
You whispered to yourself.
"...Don't do it."
Tiny Sae looked at you.
Then looked back at Rin.
His tail flicked once.
"...Sae."
He ignored you.
He crouched.
"...No."
One tiny paw moved forward.
"...Sae."
Another tiny step.
"...Don't."
Pounce!
"WHAT THE?!"
Rin shot upright with a startled yell as something fluffy landed squarely on his chest.
Tiny Sae immediately sprinted across the couch.
You burst into laughter.
"Good morning!"
"..."
Rin blinked.
"...He jump-scared me."
"I noticed."
"He planned that."
"I noticed that too."
Tiny Sae sat on the windowsill...
Looking incredibly satisfied.
---
"...I'm making coffee."
You disappeared into the kitchen.
Leaving Rin alone.
Again.
"..."
"...I know you're listening."
Tiny Sae blinked.
"..."
"...We're calling a truce."
Silence.
"..."
"...Please."
The kitten stood up.
Walked toward Rin.
"..."
Rin smiled.
"...Finally."
Tiny Sae gently placed one paw...
On Rin's knee.
"..."
"...See?"
"I knew you'd calm do..."
Tiny Sae leaned closer...
Sniffed Rin's sleeve...
Then deliberately hooked one tiny claw into the loose thread of his hoodie.
Riiiip.
"..."
"..."
"..."
Rin stared at the tiny loose thread now hanging from his sleeve.
Tiny Sae let go.
Turned around.
And calmly walked away.
"Mrr."
You heard Rin groan from the kitchen.
"What happened now?"
"...He vandalized my hoodie."
---
Later...
You decided everyone needed fresh air.
So the three of you headed downstairs to the apartment courtyard.
Tiny Sae rode comfortably in your arms.
Several neighbors smiled.
"Aww, what a cute kitten!"
You smiled politely.
"Thank you."
Tiny Sae looked deeply offended.
Across from you...
Rin couldn't resist.
"They're right."
Tiny Sae slowly turned his head.
Locked eyes with Rin.
"..."
"...Don't."
"Mrr."
"...Don't."
Five minutes later...
A little girl walked over.
"Can I pet him?"
You looked at Sae.
He wasn't trying to run away.
Instead...
He quietly climbed into your lap and tucked himself against your hoodie.
You smiled.
"I think that's his way of saying yes."
The little girl gently stroked his head.
"He's so fluffy!"
Tiny Sae tolerated exactly three head pats.
Then...
He reached out with one tiny paw...
And gently pushed her hand away.
The little girl giggled.
"He said 'that's enough!'"
You laughed.
"That sounds about right."
Rin folded his arms.
"...Spoiled."
Tiny Sae looked over.
Then...
Without warning...
Jumped from your lap.
Walked straight to Rin.
Rin blinked.
"..."
"...What."
The kitten circled his legs once.
Twice.
Three times.
"..."
"...Are you..."
"...Actually being nice?"
You smiled brightly.
"I think he missed you."
Rin tried not to smile.
"...Idiot."
He carefully reached down...
Slowly...
Very slowly...
To pet him.
The instant his fingers were about to touch soft pink fur...
Tiny Sae stepped aside.
Rin patted...
Thin air.
"..."
"..."
You froze.
Then immediately burst into uncontrollable laughter.
"He..."
"He dodged you!"
Tiny Sae calmly sat down two feet away.
Looking very pleased with himself.
Even a nearby elderly man started chuckling.
"Oof, son. The cat got you."
Rin buried his face in one hand.
"...He set me up."
"Mrr."
"...Stop laughing."
"I can't!"
"You absolutely can."
"I physically can't!"
---
That evening...
The apartment was finally peaceful again.
You sat on the floor organizing your phone gallery.
Forty-seven photos.
Twenty-one videos.
One accidental slow-motion clip of tiny Sae sneezing.
You smiled.
"...These are adorable."
Tiny Sae immediately climbed into your lap.
His eyes narrowed at the screen.
"...No."
You held your phone a little higher.
"These are staying."
He stood on his hind legs.
Trying to reach it.
"Nope."
"Mrr!"
"Nope."
"Mrrp!"
"Nope."
He made one final, determined leap...
...only to lose his balance halfway.
"Oh!"
You caught him before he hit the floor.
For a second...
He simply stayed there.
Pressed against your chest.
His tiny heartbeat racing.
"...You're okay."
You gently rubbed behind his ears.
"I've got you."
The kitten slowly relaxed.
Then...
Very quietly...
He began to purr.
A real, soft, content purr.
You smiled so gently your heart almost hurt.
"...There you are."
From the couch, Rin glanced over.
"..."
"...I'm never going to let him know he purred."
You grinned.
"My lips are sealed."
Tiny Sae looked between the two of you.
As if he somehow knew you were talking about him.
His ears twitched.
Then he hid his face in your hoodie.
Rin snorted.
"...Yeah."
"...Definitely don't tell him."

Who Let This Green-Eyed Kitty Out?! 🐈💚Part:-5(part:-1,2,3,4)
"...He's staring at me again."
You looked up from your book.
"Hm?"
Rin pointed toward the armrest.
Tiny Sae sat there.
Perfect posture.
Tail wrapped neatly around his paws.
Doing absolutely nothing...
Except staring directly at Rin.
"..."
"..."
"...He's been doing that for ten minutes."
You blinked.
"I think he's just... existing."
"No."
Rin narrowed his eyes.
"He's plotting."
As if on cue...
Tiny Sae blinked once.
Very slowly.
Then looked away.
"...See?"
"He just looked away."
"Exactly."
"He knows I noticed."
You snorted.
"You're paranoid."
"I have an older brother."
"...Fair."
A few minutes later...
You walked into the kitchen to make tea.
Leaving the brothers alone.
The apartment fell silent.
Rin looked at the kitten.
The kitten looked at Rin.
"..."
"...Don't."
Tiny Sae tilted his head.
"...I know that face."
"Mrr."
"...Whatever you're thinking..."
The kitten casually jumped off the armrest.
Walked behind the couch.
Disappeared.
Rin frowned.
"..."
"...Where'd he go?"
Silence.
"..."
"...Sae?"
Nothing.
"..."
"...I'm not playing hide-and-seek."
Still nothing.
Rin sighed and stood up.
The second he took one step...
THUMP.
"..."
He looked down.
His shoelaces...
Were tied together.
"..."
"..."
"..."
From behind the couch came the tiniest...
"Mrr."
You walked back in carrying two mugs.
"What happened?"
Rin didn't answer.
He simply pointed at his shoes.
"..."
"...Did you tie those?"
"No?"
Both of you slowly looked behind the couch.
Tiny Sae sat there.
Looking incredibly pleased with himself.
"..."
"...He did."
You burst into laughter.
"SAE!"
The kitten blinked innocently.
"Mrr."
"He literally sabotaged me."
"I don't even know how he tied them!"
Rin sighed.
"...He's evolving."
Twenty minutes later...
Rin sat on the floor scrolling through his phone.
"..."
Tiny Sae quietly walked over.
Sat beside him.
Looked at the screen.
"..."
"...Don't."
Tiny Sae gently placed one paw...
On the power button.
The screen went black.
"..."
Rin stared.
"..."
"...Did..."
"...Did you just lock my phone?"
Tiny Sae stood up.
Walked away.
Tail held high.
You almost spilled your tea laughing.
"He turned your phone off!"
"..."
"...I'm living with a criminal."
Later that afternoon...
You disappeared into your room to answer a call.
Leaving Rin alone.
Again.
"..."
"...Not this time."
Rin crossed his arms.
"I know you're here."
Nothing.
"I know you're planning something."
Silence.
"..."
"...Come on."
Still nothing.
"..."
"...Good."
"Maybe he's asleep."
Rin relaxed.
Then...
Something soft brushed against his ankle.
"..."
He looked down.
Nothing.
"..."
"..."
"...No."
Another brush.
Rin slowly lifted the edge of the blanket hanging from the couch.
Two glowing teal eyes stared back.
"..."
"...Found you."
Tiny Sae immediately reached out...
Smacked Rin's sock with one tiny paw...
And disappeared underneath the couch.
"..."
"...He just attacked my foot."
Evening arrived.
You ordered takeout.
The delivery bag sat on the table.
Rin reached for his dumplings.
"..."
The plate was empty.
"..."
"..."
"...Where."
You looked over.
"...Didn't you order dumplings?"
"I DID."
Tiny Sae was sitting beneath the dining table...
Very suspiciously.
"...Sae."
The kitten looked up.
One dumpling wrapper...
Was stuck to his whiskers.
"..."
"..."
You covered your mouth.
"...Oh my God."
Rin leaned over.
"..."
"...Did you..."
"...Steal my dumpling?"
Tiny Sae slowly licked the wrapper off.
Then...
Without a hint of guilt...
Turned around.
And walked away.
"Mrr."
You completely lost it.
You were laughing so hard tears rolled down your cheeks.
"My boyfriend..."
"...Stole your dinner."
Rin stared at the empty plate.
Then at the tiny kitten proudly walking away.
"..."
"...I'm never letting him forget this."
An hour later...
The apartment had finally calmed down.
Tiny Sae was asleep on the back of the couch.
Curled into a fluffy little ball.
You smiled softly.
"He looks so peaceful."
Rin looked over.
"..."
"...Don't let that fool you."
"What?"
"He's a menace."
As if he understood every word...
Tiny Sae opened one sleepy eye...
Looked directly at Rin...
And with perfect timing...
Knocked Rin's TV remote off the couch with one tiny paw.
Clack.
The remote hit the floor.
Tiny Sae closed his eyes again.
Pretending to be asleep.
You wheezed.
Rin stared at the remote.
Then at his "sleeping" brother.
"..."
"...He absolutely did that on purpose."
A tiny, smug...
"...mrr."
Came from the fluffy little ball.
Rin buried his face in his hands.
"I've been bullied by a six-pound cat."
You grinned.
"No."
"He isn't just any cat."
You reached over and gently scratched behind one tiny pink ear.
"He's your older brother."
Rin let out the deepest sigh imaginable.
"...I miss when he could only insult me with words."

Who Let This Green-Eyed Kitty Out?! 🐈💚part-4 (part- 1,2,3)
The apartment had become... strangely quiet.
For the past hour, you hadn't seen your boyfriend anywhere.
Not because he'd disappeared.
Because he'd found the highest shelf in your living room...
...and claimed it as his throne.
Tiny Sae sat there with perfect posture.
Front paws neatly together.
Tail wrapped around himself.
Watching you from above like a tiny king judging his kingdom.
"...You're still mad because I called you my grumpy kitty, aren't you?"
"..."
"Mrr."
"I'll take that as a yes."
You sighed dramatically.
"I've apologized three times."
Tiny Sae blinked once.
Then deliberately looked out the window.
"...You're impossible."
You grabbed your phone again.
Search: "Can humans become cats?"
Nothing.
"Mysterious blue sports drink side effects."
Nothing.
"How to reverse accidental magical transformation."
Still nothing.
"...Great."
You buried your face in your hands.
"What am I supposed to do now?"
A tiny weight landed on your shoulder.
You looked up.
Somehow...
Without making a single sound...
Sae had climbed down from the shelf.
"...When did you get here?"
"Mrr."
"You move like a ninja."
He gently nudged your cheek with his forehead.
"..."
Your heart squeezed.
"...Don't do that."
Another tiny nudge.
"I'll cry."
He tilted his head.
"...You're lucky you're cute."
Immediately...
He looked away.
As if pretending he hadn't heard that.
"..."
"...Yeah."
"You definitely heard me."
---
Ten minutes later...
You reached the only logical conclusion.
"...Rin."
Tiny Sae looked up.
"I have to call Rin."
His ears twitched.
"He deserves to know."
The kitten immediately jumped onto the coffee table.
"...Mrr."
"What?"
Another louder...
"Mrr."
"You don't want me to?"
He stared.
"..."
"...Too bad."
You picked up your phone.
Dialed.
One ring.
Two.
Three.
Click.
"...What."
You smiled awkwardly.
"Hi, Rin."
"..."
"...Why are you calling me?"
"I need help."
"..."
"...Did my brother forget another date?"
"No."
"..."
"...Did he make you cry?"
"No."
"..."
"...Then what."
You took a deep breath.
"...Sae turned into a kitten."
Silence.
Not normal silence.
The kind of silence where someone was deciding whether hanging up would improve their day.
"..."
"...You're joking."
"I'm not."
"..."
"You are."
"I'm serious!"
"..."
"...Did you hit your head?"
Tiny Sae slowly covered his face with one paw.
"...See?"
"See what?"
"He thinks you're being rude."
"...Who."
"Sae."
"..."
"...The cat?"
"YES."
Rin sighed.
"...You've officially lost it."
Before you could answer...
Tiny Sae suddenly climbed onto your shoulder...
Stretched...
And looked directly into the camera.
"..."
"..."
Rin frowned.
"..."
"...Why..."
"...Does that cat look exactly like him?"
"I TOLD YOU!"
"..."
"..."
"...Hold the camera closer."
You obeyed.
Tiny Sae stared at the screen.
Rin stared back.
Neither of them moved.
After several long seconds...
Tiny Sae slowly narrowed his eyes.
Exactly...
Exactly...
Like Sae always did whenever Rin annoyed him.
Rin's expression changed.
"..."
"...No way."
"I KNOW."
"..."
"...Put him on the phone."
"...Rin."
"..."
"He's a cat."
"..."
"..."
"...Right."
You couldn't stop laughing.
"I'm coming."
Click.
The call ended.
---
Twenty minutes later...
Knock. Knock.
Tiny Sae's ears shot upright.
He jumped off your lap.
Then...
Without warning...
He sprinted straight into your bedroom.
"...Sae?"
Silence.
Another knock echoed through the apartment.
You opened the door.
Rin stood outside.
Hands in his pockets.
Looking like he'd rather be literally anywhere else.
"...If this is a prank..."
"It isn't."
He stepped inside.
"...Where is he?"
You pointed toward your bedroom.
"He ran away when you knocked."
"..."
"...He what?"
"He hid."
Rin raised an eyebrow.
"...He's hiding from me?"
You nodded.
"I think so."
"...Coward."
A tiny, offended...
"MRRP!"
Echoed from inside the bedroom.
Rin blinked.
"..."
"...That's definitely him."
You covered your mouth to stop yourself from laughing.
Rin slowly walked toward the bedroom.
"...Sae."
Silence.
"...Come out."
Nothing.
"..."
"...You're making this everyone's problem."
Another indignant...
"Mrr!"
"..."
"...Even as a cat you're stubborn."
Tiny Sae finally peeked around the corner.
Only his fluffy little head was visible.
The brothers locked eyes.
Five seconds.
Ten seconds.
Neither moved.
Then...
Rin quietly reached into his pocket.
Pulled out his phone.
Click.
The shutter sound echoed through the room.
"...RIN!"
"...What."
"You took a picture!"
"...Evidence."
Tiny Sae's ears flattened.
His pupils narrowed.
You recognized that look immediately.
"...Rin..."
"What."
"...Run."
"Huh?"
"MRRRRP!"
Like a tiny pink missile, Sae launched himself straight at Rin.
"WHAT THE...?!"
Rin barely managed to catch him before stumbling backward onto the couch.
Tiny paws batted at his sleeve.
His tail puffed up in indignation.
"You took his picture without permission!" you laughed.
"I was documenting a scientific phenomenon!"
"Mrr!"
"...He's hitting me."
"He doesn't like paparazzi."
"...Clearly."
Rin carefully set him back down.
Tiny Sae huffed, turned around with all the dignity a kitten could muster...
...and promptly sat with his back facing Rin.
The silent treatment.
Rin sighed.
"...Yeah."
"...That's my brother."

Who Let This Green-Eyed Kitty Out?! 🐈💚part:-3 (part:-1/part:-2)
By noon...
You had accepted two things.
One...
Your boyfriend had somehow become a kitten.
And two...
He was still just as stubborn.
"...Sae."
The tiny kitten sat on the windowsill, sunlight spilling over his soft rose-colored fur. His teal eyes followed the birds outside with quiet curiosity, his tail lazily swaying from side to side.
"You've been staring out that window for fifteen minutes."
"..."
"Mrrp."
"Very productive."
He ignored you.
"...You're impossible."
You disappeared into your bedroom for a moment before returning with an old hoodie.
One of yours.
"...Come here."
Nothing.
You shook the hoodie dramatically.
"It's warm."
One tiny ear twitched.
"...I know you're interested."
Still nothing.
You sighed.
"So we're pretending we don't care."
The second you placed the hoodie on the couch...
A fluffy blur hopped down from the windowsill.
"..."
"..."
"...I saw that."
Tiny Sae froze halfway to the hoodie.
His ears slowly rotated toward you.
"..."
"...You moved awfully fast."
He looked away.
"Mrrp."
"Oh, don't 'mrrp' me."
You laughed as he climbed into the hoodie anyway, disappearing almost completely inside the oversized fabric.
Only two little ears poked out.
"..."
"...You're actually adorable."
The ears flattened.
A tiny paw appeared from inside the hoodie...
Only to pull the hood farther over his head.
"...Were you trying to hide?"
No answer.
You quietly pulled out your phone.
Click.
"..."
Click.
"...Sae..."
Another picture.
The tiny kitten peeked out just enough to notice your phone.
"..."
His eyes widened.
Before you could react...
He sprinted across the couch.
Straight into your lap.
Tiny paws climbed up your arm.
"...Wait..."
"Mrrp!"
"No, no, don't-"
He reached your phone.
One determined little paw slapped the screen.
The camera app closed.
"..."
"...Did you just stop me from taking pictures?"
He sat down proudly in your lap.
"...You know..."
You gently scratched beneath his tiny chin.
"...That only makes me want to take more."
He instantly leaned into your fingers...
Then...
Realized what he was doing.
His entire body stiffened.
"..."
Slowly...
Very slowly...
He pulled away.
Turned around.
And sat with his back facing you.
"...You're embarrassed."
Tail flick.
"...You liked it."
Another tail flick.
"Oh, this is priceless."
You couldn't stop smiling.
"You know, human Sae would've just walked away."
The kitten lifted one tiny paw...
And dramatically covered his face.
"..."
"...You're hiding now?"
You burst into laughter.
"Okay, okay."
You gently picked him up.
"No more teasing."
He narrowed his eyes.
Clearly unconvinced.
The rest of the afternoon passed surprisingly peacefully.
You folded laundry.
Tiny Sae immediately claimed the warm pile fresh out of the dryer.
"...Seriously?"
He circled the sweaters twice before flopping onto them with a satisfied little sigh.
"...Those are clean."
"Mrrp."
"I have to fold those."
He blinked.
"..."
"...You are the reason people say cats are difficult."
The kitten closed his eyes.
Pretending to sleep.
"...Sae."
Nothing.
"...You're faking it."
One eye cracked open.
"...Caught you."
He immediately shut it again.
"..."
"...Drama king."
An hour later...
You made yourself lunch.
As expected...
Tiny Sae followed.
Not too close.
Just enough to pretend it was a coincidence.
You opened the refrigerator.
Behind you...
Tiny paws.
Tiny footsteps.
Tiny...
"...Mrrp."
You looked down.
"...Hungry?"
He looked at the counter.
Then at you.
Then at the pan where grilled salmon was cooking.
"..."
"...Of course."
When you placed a tiny portion on his plate...
He sniffed it once before eating with the exact same calm elegance as before.
Meanwhile...
You looked away for three seconds.
Three.
Seconds.
When you looked back...
One piece of salmon had mysteriously disappeared from your plate.
"..."
You slowly turned toward him.
The kitten was very deliberately looking out the window.
"...Sae."
Nothing.
"...Did you steal my food?"
He continued staring outside.
"..."
"...You're literally chewing."
His tiny ears lowered.
"..."
"...Thief."
"Mrrp."
"Oh, don't act innocent."
After lunch...
You decided the apartment needed cleaning.
The moment the vacuum cleaner turned on...
Tiny Sae's eyes became enormous.
"..."
"...Don't tell me..."
The vacuum hummed.
The kitten stared.
The vacuum stared back.
"..."
"...Sae?"
Without warning...
He launched himself onto your shoulder.
Tiny claws clung carefully to your hoodie as he buried his face against your neck.
"..."
"...Are you scared?"
No answer.
Only a tiny, offended...
"Mrr."
You smiled softly.
"It's okay."
You switched the vacuum off.
The apartment fell silent again.
A few seconds passed.
Slowly...
A fluffy little face peeked out from your shoulder.
"...It's gone."
He looked around suspiciously.
"...Safe?"
He looked at you.
"..."
"...You can let go now."
Instead...
He settled more comfortably against your shoulder.
As though he'd decided this was simply where he belonged.
Your heart melted.
"...My grumpy kitty."
The words escaped before you even realized you'd said them.
Everything stopped.
The kitten froze.
His ears twitched once.
Then twice.
Slowly...
Very slowly...
He turned to look at you.
Those bright teal eyes blinked.
"..."
"..."
"...Did I embarrass you?"
He immediately looked away.
But...
Instead of climbing down...
He quietly tucked his face beneath your chin.
"..."
Your smile softened.
"I'll take that as a yes."
Carefully...
You kissed the top of his tiny head.
"...You're still my boyfriend."
The kitten gave the quietest...
"...Mrrp."
Before gently nudging your jaw with the top of his head.
It wasn't much.
Not for anyone else.
But for Sae...
It felt like the biggest confession in the world.
By evening...
Your phone gallery had somehow gained forty-three new photos.
Most of them featured one very grumpy kitten looking increasingly offended by your camera.
Yet somehow...
He never once moved away from your side.
And somewhere between the laughter...
The teasing...
The stolen salmon...
And the quiet naps in your hoodie...
You realized something that made your chest ache just a little.
You still wanted Sae back.
Of course you did.
But...
You were going to miss...
Your grumpy little kitty.

Who Let This Green-Eyed Kitty Out?! 🐈💚part:-2/part:-1
"...Sae?"
The tiny kitten blinked once.
His bright teal eyes never left yours.
You stared.
He stared.
"..."
"...No."
Your brain refused to process what your eyes were seeing.
You had gone to sleep beside your very human boyfriend.
You were absolutely certain of that.
There had been no cats in your apartment.
No stray kittens.
No pets.
Nothing.
"...This is a dream."
The kitten slowly narrowed his eyes.
...Exactly the way Sae did whenever someone said something he found ridiculous.
Your mouth slowly fell open.
"No..."
The kitten let out another tiny,
"Mrrp."
"..."
"...Sae?"
The little ears twitched.
Your heartbeat picked up.
"Oh my God."
You shot upright in bed so quickly that the kitten lost his balance, rolling onto the blanket with the tiniest, most offended squeak.
"...!"
"Oh!"
You immediately scooped him into your hands.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
The kitten glared at you.
Actually glared.
How...
How was that even possible?
"You..."
You held him at eye level.
"...Blink twice if you're Sae."
The kitten didn't blink.
Instead...
He slowly lifted one tiny paw...
...and gently tapped your forehead.
"..."
"...Did you just call me an idiot?"
"Mrrp."
"..."
"YOU DID!"
You stared at him in disbelief before bursting into laughter.
"There is absolutely no way..."
The kitten looked deeply unimpressed.
"You actually are Sae..."
He sighed.
A real sigh.
Coming from a kitten.
"Oh, this is unbelievable."
You carefully set him on the bed before grabbing your phone.
Your fingers moved at lightning speed.
'Boyfriend turned into a cat overnight.'
Search.
Nothing.
You tried again.
'Can mysterious sports drink turn human into kitten?'
Nothing.
'How to reverse accidental cat transformation.'
Still nothing.
The mattress dipped.
You looked down.
Tiny Sae had quietly walked across the blanket...
...and planted himself directly on top of your phone.
"..."
"...Move."
"Mrrp."
"I need that."
The kitten curled into a perfect little loaf.
"...Sae."
No response.
"You are literally sitting on the only thing helping us."
He slowly closed his eyes.
"..."
"...Are you ignoring me?"
Silence.
You sighed dramatically.
"So that's a yes."
Giving up, you gently lifted him off the phone.
The tiny kitten immediately reached out with both front paws...
...and held onto your wrist.
You froze.
"..."
He didn't seem to realize he was doing it.
Or maybe...
He did.
The moment he noticed you'd stopped moving, he quickly let go and looked away.
"...Cute."
The kitten's ears flattened.
"Mrrp."
"You are."
He turned his entire body around, presenting you with his fluffy back.
"...You're sulking."
His tail flicked.
"Oh my God."
You laughed so hard your stomach hurt.
"This is exactly what you'd do as a human."
After somehow convincing yourself not to panic...
You carried him into the kitchen.
"Okay."
You placed him carefully on the counter.
"First things first."
You opened the cupboard.
"I don't have cat food."
Tiny Sae looked at the empty counter.
Then at you.
Then back at the counter.
"..."
"...Don't look at me like that."
He continued staring.
"I wasn't expecting my boyfriend to wake up as a kitten!"
He blinked.
"...Fair."
You opened the refrigerator.
"Hm..."
Milk.
Eggs.
Fruit.
Bread.
Leftover grilled salmon.
The kitten's ears perked up almost instantly.
"..."
"...Seriously?"
His eyes never left the salmon.
"You don't want milk?"
He looked at the bowl.
Then slowly looked away.
"...Not interested?"
Nothing.
"So..."
You held up the container of salmon.
"This?"
His tail gave the tiniest flick.
"..."
"...You're impossible."
A few minutes later, a tiny plate of shredded grilled salmon sat in front of him.
The kitten sniffed it once.
Then began eating with tiny, surprisingly neat bites.
No mess.
No rushing.
No greed.
Even as a cat...
Sae somehow had table manners.
You rested your chin in your palm, smiling.
"You know..."
He glanced up.
"...You're ridiculously adorable."
He immediately stopped eating.
"Mrrp."
"What?"
"Mrrp."
"I know you're judging me."
He continued chewing without another sound.
"...You're definitely judging me."
Once he'd finished breakfast, he carefully licked one paw...
Then cleaned his face with slow, practiced motions.
You couldn't stop smiling.
"...You're grooming yourself."
He paused.
Realization slowly crossed those bright teal eyes.
He looked at his paw.
Then at you.
"..."
His ears lowered.
"...Embarrassed?"
He immediately hopped off the chair.
"Sae?"
He walked away with as much dignity as a kitten could possibly manage.
"...Sae?"
Without looking back...
He disappeared around the corner.
"..."
"...Did my boyfriend just storm off because he caught himself acting like a cat?"
A tiny,
"Mrrp!"
Echoed from the living room.
You couldn't hold it in anymore.
You laughed so hard tears gathered in your eyes.
"This..."
You wiped at your face.
"...is going to be the longest twenty-four hours of my life."

Who Let This Green-Eyed Kitty Out?! 🐈💚Part:-1
You'd always known Sae wasn't exactly... expressive.
He wasn't the type to send random "I miss you" texts, nor did he show up at your apartment unannounced without a reason.
Which was exactly why the knock on your door at almost eleven-thirty at night made you frown.
You padded across your apartment, peeking through the peephole before unlocking it.
"...Sae?"
He stood outside with one hand tucked into the pocket of his hoodie, his teal eyes looking more exhausted than usual. His hair was slightly messier than normal, and despite maintaining his usual calm expression, there was something... off.
"You look terrible."
"Thanks."
You smiled.
"I meant tired."
"I know."
Stepping aside, you let him inside.
The familiar scent of rain drifted in with him before the door clicked shut behind you.
"You weren't answering your phone."
"I was practicing."
"...Until eleven?"
He hummed.
"You overdid it again, didn't you?"
Silence.
That was enough of an answer.
You sighed dramatically.
"Sit."
"I'm fine."
"Sae."
"..."
"The couch."
With the tiniest sigh, he obeyed.
"You're bossy."
"I'm taking care of my boyfriend."
"I never asked."
"You also never ask for help."
"..."
"Exactly."
You disappeared into the kitchen while Sae quietly observed your apartment.
It had slowly become a second home for him.
His slippers sat neatly beside yours.
A hoodie he'd forgotten weeks ago was hanging over the dining chair.
There was even an extra toothbrush in your bathroom that he stubbornly insisted wasn't his despite using it every time he stayed over.
You returned carrying two mugs of hot tea.
"Here."
He accepted it with a quiet "Thanks."
For a few minutes, neither of you spoke.
Comfortable silence had always been your thing.
Then...
Your eyes landed on a tiny glass bottle sticking out of his hoodie pocket.
"What is that?"
Sae glanced down before pulling it out.
"Oh."
The bottle was empty except for a few drops of bright blue liquid clinging to the sides.
"New sports drink?"
"Apparently."
"Apparently?"
"It was handed out after practice."
You raised an eyebrow.
"And?"
"It tasted strange."
"Define strange."
"...Like mint mixed with blueberries."
"That doesn't sound bad."
"It also fizzed."
"..."
"...Without being carbonated."
You blinked.
"...That sounds illegal."
"It probably is."
You burst into laughter.
For a second...
You caught the smallest upward twitch at the corner of his lips.
Success.
"I knew I could make you smile."
"I didn't."
"You literally just did."
"I didn't."
"Liar."
He looked away.
"...Maybe a little."
"There he is."
"Who?"
"My boyfriend."
Sae rolled his eyes, though the softness lingering in them betrayed him.
"You've been working too much."
"I have responsibilities."
"You also need sleep."
"I'll sleep."
"When?"
"...Eventually."
You crossed your arms.
"No."
"No?"
"You're staying here tonight."
"I have clothes at home."
"You have clothes here."
"..."
"You left half your wardrobe in my apartment."
"I did not."
"Oh really?"
Without another word, you walked toward your bedroom.
Sae frowned before quietly following.
You opened your wardrobe dramatically.
The left side held your clothes.
The right side...
A black hoodie.
A training jacket.
Three t-shirts.
Two pairs of sweatpants.
A pair of socks.
His scarf.
His gloves.
And somehow...
A pair of football boots sitting in the bottom corner.
You slowly looked at him.
"...Explain."
"..."
"Sae."
"...I forgot."
"You forgot an entire closet?"
"It accumulated."
You laughed so hard you had to hold onto the wardrobe door.
"This is ridiculous."
"You didn't complain before."
"Because every week there's something new!"
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"...That's fair."
You pulled one of his oversized hoodies off the hanger and tossed it at him.
"Bathroom."
"I can sleep like this."
"You smell like a football field."
"I showered."
"After practice?"
"..."
"You didn't."
"I was coming here."
"Exactly."
He accepted defeat with another quiet sigh.
"I'll shower."
"Good."
As he disappeared into the bathroom, you couldn't help smiling to yourself.
Moments like these were your favorite.
No fancy dates.
No expensive gifts.
Just... existing together.
Twenty minutes later, Sae emerged with damp hair, wearing one of the hoodies he'd accidentally moved into your apartment months ago.
You blinked.
"...You look comfy."
"I am."
"You basically live here."
"I don't."
"You literally have socks in my closet."
"..."
"...Those are strategic socks."
You laughed so loudly that he looked mildly offended.
"Strategic?"
"So I don't forget them."
"You forgot them because you left them here."
"I remembered where they were."
"You are impossible."
"So I've been told."
You walked over and reached up to towel-dry his damp hair.
"Sae."
"What?"
"Stay still."
"I'm capable of drying my own hair."
"I know."
"Then why?"
"Because I want to."
He went quiet.
His shoulders relaxed almost immediately.
You gently ruffled his soft pink hair with the towel, smiling when he closed his eyes for a brief second.
"...Comfortable?"
"...Mm."
"What was that?"
"...Nothing."
"I think my grumpy boyfriend likes being pampered."
"I tolerate it."
"Mhm."
You reached up and poked his cheek.
"So cute."
"I'm not cute."
"You absolutely are."
"I'm not."
"You are."
"No."
"You literally closed your eyes because I was drying your hair."
"..."
"...I was blinking."
You snorted.
"Sure."
By the time midnight rolled around, the two of you were curled up on the couch watching whatever random movie happened to be playing.
You weren't really paying attention.
Sae rested against the armrest, one hand absentmindedly intertwined with yours.
His thumb lazily brushed over your knuckles every now and then.
The apartment was quiet.
Peaceful.
Comfortable.
You looked over.
"...Still feeling okay after that weird drink?"
"Hm?"
"The mystery beverage."
"I feel..."
He paused.
"...Sleepy."
"Maybe because you've barely slept this week."
"Probably."
You yawned.
"Come on."
"Where?"
"Bed."
He didn't argue this time.
Within minutes, both of you were tucked beneath the blankets.
The room was dim, illuminated only by the moonlight filtering through the curtains.
You instinctively scooted closer.
Sae wrapped one arm around your waist without even opening his eyes.
"...Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
Within moments...
The apartment fell silent.
Neither of you noticed the faint shimmer of blue light escaping from the empty bottle sitting forgotten on the kitchen counter.
Nor the tiny sparkle that drifted beneath the bedroom door...
...before disappearing into the darkness.
The next morning...
Something soft brushed against your cheek.
You frowned, still half asleep.
"...Sae..."
Another soft brush.
Followed by the tiniest...
"...mrrp."
Your eyebrows knitted together.
"...Did you just... meow?"
Silence.
You slowly opened one eye.
And froze.
Sitting neatly on your pillow...
Was the smallest fluffy kitten you'd ever seen.
Soft rose-colored fur.
Bright teal-green eyes.
And the exact same unimpressed expression...
...as your boyfriend.
"..."
"...No."
The kitten blinked once.
Then let out another tiny,
"...mrrp."
You stared.
The kitten stared back.
Neither of you moved.
"...Sae?"
The kitten slowly closed his eyes...
As if already regretting every decision that had led to this exact moment.

The Smile That Wasn't for the Cameras ✨
Context:- where you get very overwhelmed by your fans so your boyfriend decided to save the day💫
Pairing:- chigiri X reader,kaiser X reader
Chigiri X reader:-
The stadium buzzed with excitement long before the match had even reached its end.
You, one of Japan's most beloved idols, had been invited as a special VIP guest. Cameras had already captured you several times throughout the match, your smile lighting up the giant screen whenever it appeared.
It was nothing new.
Being recognized had become part of your everyday life.
Wanting to avoid the post-match crowd, you quietly left your seat before the final whistle.
A few fans noticed.
Then a few became dozens.
"Wait... that's Y/N!"
"The idol!"
"Can I get a selfie?"
"Please sign my album!"
The hallway erupted into chaos as fans rushed toward you, desperate for even a second of your attention.
At first, you smiled politely.
You always did.
It was your job.
But the crowd kept growing.
People pushed closer.
Phones surrounded your face.
The smile you had perfected for years slowly disappeared as your breathing became uneven...
"Everyone, please step back."
The crowd instinctively turned.
Crimson hair caught the stadium lights as Chigiri Hyoma walked toward you, his composed expression hiding the irritation in his ruby eyes.
He quickly noticed your trembling hands.
Without a second thought, he stepped between you and the crowd, shielding you from the sea of cameras.
"She's overwhelmed," he said firmly, his gaze sweeping across the fans. "Please give her some space."
Security finally rushed over, creating enough room for Chigiri to reach you.
"Can you walk?" he asked softly, making sure his voice was only loud enough for you to hear.
You gave him a small nod.
"Good."
His hand hovered near yours, careful not to grab it without permission.
"If you're comfortable with it... come with me."
You gently placed your hand in his.
His grip was warm.
Steady.
Reassuring.
He guided you through the hallway while security held the crowd back, eventually leading you behind a pair of private doors.
The Players' VIP Lounge welcomed you with complete silence.
The muffled cheers from the stadium became nothing more than a distant echo.
You finally let out the breath you had been holding.
Chigiri quietly handed you a bottle of water before sitting across from you, giving you enough space to feel comfortable.
"You don't have to force yourself to smile here," he said with a gentle smile.
"You've probably spent your whole career smiling for everyone else."
You quietly looked down at the bottle in your hands, your fingers still trembling slightly.
"I feel bad..." you whispered. "They were only excited to see me."
"They were," Chigiri replied softly. "But admiration should never make someone forget your boundaries."
Silence settled between the two of you.
Comfortable.
Warm.
Your shoulders slowly relaxed, though you still looked shaken.
Chigiri noticed.
Without saying a word, he took a step closer and gently draped his team jacket over your shoulders.
The fabric still carried a faint trace of his cologne.
"You'll catch a cold," he murmured.
You blinked up at him.
"But... what about you?"
A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
"I'll be fine."
His fingers lightly adjusted the jacket around you before meeting your eyes.
"You spend every day making thousands of people smile."
His voice was barely above a whisper.
"So... who's there to make sure you smile?"
Your heart skipped a beat.
The room suddenly felt much quieter.
Much smaller.
You lowered your gaze, feeling your cheeks grow warm.
"I've never really thought about it..."
"I have."
The words slipped from his lips so naturally that even he seemed to realize what he'd admitted.
A faint pink dusted his cheeks as he looked away, clearing his throat.
"I mean..."
"...Someone should."
A soft laugh escaped you.
The first genuine laugh you'd managed all evening.
Hearing it, Chigiri smiled too.
"There it is," he said quietly, his ruby eyes softening as they met yours again.
"That smile suits you much better than the one you force for the cameras."
For a moment...
Neither of you spoke.
The noise of the stadium faded into the distance.
It was just the two of you.
And somehow, surrounded by silence, your heart was louder than the roaring crowd outside. 🌸🤍
--
Kaiser X reader:-
The stadium roared with deafening cheers as Bastard München dominated the field.
From one of the private VIP suites sat you, Japan's most adored idol, invited to witness the match as a special guest. Every time the camera found you, the giant screen lit up with your face, earning another wave of screams from the audience.
Being recognized had never bothered you.
Not until today.
Deciding to leave a little before the match ended, you quietly stepped into the hallway, hoping to avoid the overwhelming crowd.
For a moment...
Everything was peaceful.
Then someone gasped.
"Wait... isn't that Y/N?!"
Another voice followed.
"The idol!"
Within seconds, people surrounded you from every direction.
Phones were shoved toward your face.
Albums, posters, even pieces of paper appeared in front of you.
"One autograph, please!"
"Can we take a selfie?"
"I've been your fan for years!"
You tried your best to smile.
You always smiled.
It was second nature by now.
But the crowd refused to stop growing.
People kept pushing closer.
Your breathing became shallow.
The walls suddenly felt too narrow.
The noise became unbearable.
Then...
"Move."
A cold, commanding voice sliced through the hallway.
The crowd instinctively fell silent.
Michael Kaiser stepped forward, blue eyes sharp with irritation.
His gaze swept over the fans before landing on your pale expression.
The playful smirk he usually wore disappeared.
"What exactly do you all think you're doing?" he asked, his voice calm, yet carrying enough authority to freeze everyone in place.
"Can't you see she's uncomfortable?"
Security immediately hurried over, creating a path through the crowd.
Kaiser didn't wait another second.
He walked straight to you.
"You with me?" he asked quietly.
You barely managed a nod.
"Good."
Without hesitation, he slipped his hand around yours.
His grip was firm.
Confident.
As though silently telling you that no one would come near you again.
He led you through the restricted hallway until the doors of the Players' Private Lounge closed behind you.
The noise vanished.
Only silence remained.
You stood there for a moment, trying to steady your breathing.
Kaiser grabbed a bottle of water and placed it into your hands.
"Drink."
You obeyed, taking a few small sips.
Only then did you realize your hands were still shaking.
"...Embarrassing," you whispered.
"I couldn't even handle a crowd."
Kaiser let out a quiet laugh.
"That's the conclusion you came to?"
He slowly walked toward you until there was barely any space left between you.
"You weren't weak."
"You were cornered."
"There's a difference."
You looked down.
"I should've been stronger."
A gloved finger gently tilted your chin upward.
"No."
His blue eyes locked onto yours.
"You spend every day pretending you're okay for cameras."
"You don't have to pretend in front of me."
The words settled deep inside your chest.
Your lips parted, but no sound came out.
A small smile curved on Kaiser's lips.
"There."
"Much better."
He carefully brushed a loose strand of hair away from your face before letting his hand linger for just a second longer than necessary.
"I've watched thousands of people cheer for you tonight."
His voice had become unusually soft.
"But none of them noticed the moment your smile disappeared."
He sighed quietly.
"I did."
Your heartbeat quickened.
"You noticed...?"
He chuckled.
"Hard not to."
"When someone as beautiful as you suddenly stops smiling..."
"...the whole room loses its light."
Heat rushed to your cheeks.
"Kaiser..."
"Hm?"
"You're impossible."
"I know."
He smiled proudly before taking your hand once again, gently intertwining his fingers with yours.
"But if holding your hand is what makes you feel safe..."
His thumb slowly brushed over your knuckles.
"...then I don't plan on letting go anytime soon."
For the first time that evening...
Your smile wasn't for your fans.
It wasn't for the cameras.
It belonged to the football star standing impossibly close to you.
And judging by the way Kaiser smiled back...
He intended to keep it that way. ✨💙

MIDNIGHT CALLS ♡ pt:-2
They can't sleep so they decided to call you instead ♡
Micheal kaiser , yoichi isagi
Michael Kaiser :-
"He always knew how to steal the room.
He never expected someone to quietly steal his peace."
3:17 A.M.
Your phone buzzed against the nightstand.
You frowned, blindly reaching for it.
The room was still.
Outside, the city lights blurred through your curtains, glowing against the drizzle.
Who calls at this hour?
You unlocked your phone.
Michael Kaiser.
"...You're kidding."
You stared at the screen for two full rings.
Kaiser?
Calling?
Not texting.
Not sending a smug selfie.
Not dropping some dramatic voice note.
Actually calling.
Curiosity won.
You answered.
"...Hello?"
Without missing a beat, his familiar voice slipped through the speaker.
"There you are."
A sleepy smile tugged at your lips.
"You sound far too cheerful for someone calling at three in the morning."
"Cheerful?" he chuckled. "I was beginning to think you'd rejected me."
"I took six seconds to answer."
"Six very heartbreaking seconds."
You rolled your eyes.
"You're impossible."
"And yet..."
A brief pause.
"You still answered."
You laughed softly.
"You're unbelievably dramatic."
"It's part of my charm."
"It definitely isn't."
"Cruel."
The teasing bounced back and forth so naturally that you barely noticed how awake you had become.
He always did that.
Made conversations feel effortless.
"You know..." you murmured, looking at the rain on your window, "people usually call because something happened."
"Maybe something did."
His tone changed just enough for you to notice.
"What happened?"
Silence.
Not long.
Just long enough.
"Nothing worth making a headline over."
"Michael."
"Hm?"
"You dodged the question."
"Did I?"
"You absolutely did."
A quiet laugh escaped him.
"You're getting good at reading me."
"I've had practice."
The line fell silent again.
You could hear the faint sound of traffic from wherever he was.
He wasn't home.
Or maybe...
He had gone out just to clear his head.
"You aren't sleeping."
"Observation skills. Impressive."
"You're avoiding another question."
"Also impressive."
You sighed dramatically.
"I should hang up."
"You won't."
"...Confident."
"No."
His voice lowered.
"Certain."
Something about the way he said it made your heartbeat skip.
Not because it was flirtatious.
Because...
He sounded like he needed you to stay.
"So..." you asked gently.
"Why me?"
Another pause.
For once...
There was no witty comeback.
No cocky laugh.
No exaggerated compliment.
Just...
A tired sigh.
"Do you know what people like about me?"
You blinked.
"That's a dangerous question."
"Humor me."
"They think you're talented."
"Mm."
"They think you're confident."
"Mm."
"They think nothing ever gets to you."
A soft chuckle.
"Exactly."
You frowned.
"...And?"
"It's exhausting."
The words hung in the air.
Simple.
Honest.
Unexpected.
You sat up straighter.
"I didn't expect you to say that."
"Most people don't."
Another silence.
This one wasn't awkward.
It was fragile.
Like he had handed you something delicate without meaning to.
"When everyone expects you to smile..."
he murmured,
"Eventually you forget what your face feels like without one."
Your chest tightened.
For the first time...
Michael Kaiser didn't sound like football's golden star.
He sounded like...
Just a twenty-year-old who was tired.
"You don't have to perform with me."
Nothing.
Then...
"I know."
"And that's terrifying."
"Why?"
"Because if I stop pretending..."
His voice almost disappeared.
"What if you don't like what's left?"
You closed your eyes.
There it was.
The insecurity he buried beneath expensive smiles and sharp words.
"You know what's funny?"
"What?"
"I've never liked you because you were perfect."
He stayed quiet.
"I like you because you're annoying."
A laugh burst out of him.
A real one.
"You flirt at the worst possible times."
Another laugh.
"You steal my food."
"Borrow."
"You never borrow anything."
"Fair point."
"And somehow..."
you smiled to yourself,
"...you always know when I'm pretending to be okay."
The laughter faded.
"You don't have to be impressive tonight, Michael."
"You don't have to be the Kaiser everyone expects."
"You can just... exist."
For several seconds...
Nothing.
Only breathing.
Then...
His voice returned.
Softer than before.
"You know..."
"I almost didn't call."
"Why?"
"Because I thought I'd ruin your sleep."
"You did."
"..."
"..."
"...Sorry."
You grinned.
"There he is."
"Who's that?"
"The real Michael."
Another quiet laugh.
"I thought the real Michael was supposed to be insufferable."
"He is."
"But he also worries about waking people up."
Silence.
Comfortable this time.
The rain outside had almost stopped.
You glanced at the clock.
Nearly four in the morning.
"I should let you sleep."
"You should."
"Will you?"
"No."
"Good."
"Stay until one of us falls asleep."
He didn't answer immediately.
When he finally spoke...
His voice carried the smallest smile.
"You're dangerous."
"How?"
"You're becoming my favorite habit."
Heat rushed to your cheeks.
"You say things like that too easily."
"No."
A pause.
"That's the problem."
Another long silence settled between you.
Neither of you rushed to end the call.
Sometimes...
Love didn't arrive with grand confessions.
Sometimes...
It sounded like someone staying on the line long after there was nothing left to say.
And somehow...
That was enough.
Yoichi Isagi :-
"Some people call because they need saving.
He called because he forgot that he didn't have to carry everything alone."
3:08 A.M.
The vibration of your phone stirred you awake.
You groaned, reaching blindly for it.
The room was dark.
Your blanket was warm.
And whoever was calling at three in the morning was about to hear a very annoyed version of you.
You squinted at the screen.
Yoichi Isagi.
Immediately, your irritation vanished.
You answered.
"...Hello?"
The response came instantly.
"I'm sorry."
You blinked.
"What?"
"I'm sorry."
"Isagi."
"Yeah?"
"Why are you apologizing before you've even said hello?"
A nervous laugh crackled through the speaker.
"Because it's three in the morning."
You couldn't help smiling.
That sounded exactly like him.
"You know..."
"Most people say hello first."
"I panicked."
"Clearly."
Another embarrassed laugh.
You sat up against your headboard.
The clock read 3:08 A.M.
"What happened?"
Silence.
Not because he didn't want to answer.
Because he was trying to figure out how.
You knew that silence.
You had heard it before.
Usually after a difficult match.
Or after he'd been overthinking something for hours.
"...Nothing happened."
You sighed.
"Bad answer."
"I know."
"Try again."
A pause.
Then...
"My brain won't shut up."
Your expression softened immediately.
There it was.
The real answer.
You tucked your blanket closer around yourself.
"Thinking about football?"
A small laugh.
"When am I not?"
"Fair."
"But..."
He hesitated.
"It's not just football."
The words surprised you.
Because Isagi loved football.
Lived football.
Breathed football.
When something else managed to occupy space in his head...
It usually mattered.
A lot.
"Want to talk about it?"
Another pause.
You heard him shift somewhere on the other end.
Probably pacing.
He always paced when he was thinking.
"Do you ever feel like..."
He stopped.
"...Like what?"
"Like no matter how much progress you make..."
"you're still standing in the same place?"
The question hung in the air.
Heavy.
Honest.
You stared at the ceiling.
"Yeah."
"Really?"
"Of course."
A quiet exhale escaped him.
As if hearing that helped.
You smiled softly.
"You know what I think?"
"What?"
"I think you're too hard on yourself."
Immediate protest.
"I'm not."
You laughed.
"Isagi."
"What?"
"You literally called me at three in the morning because you're overthinking."
"When you say it like that..."
"It sounds exactly as dramatic as it is."
He groaned.
You laughed again.
The sound made him laugh too.
And suddenly...
The tension in his voice eased.
Just a little.
Minutes passed.
The conversation drifted.
Football.
School memories.
Random things.
Nothing important.
And somehow...
Everything felt important.
Because it was three in the morning.
Because the world felt smaller.
Because there was nobody else awake.
At some point...
You noticed something.
"Yoichi."
"Hm?"
"You sound tired."
"I am."
"So why aren't you sleeping?"
Silence.
Then...
"I didn't want to be alone with my thoughts."
The honesty of the answer hit harder than expected.
You looked down at your blanket.
"Oh."
"Sorry."
"There you go apologizing again."
"I can't help it."
"You really can't."
A sheepish laugh followed.
Then...
For a while...
Neither of you spoke.
Not because the conversation had ended.
Because it didn't need words.
You listened to each other's breathing.
The distant sound of rain.
The occasional car passing somewhere outside.
It felt...
Comfortable.
Like sitting beside someone on a quiet train ride.
No pressure.
No expectations.
Just presence.
"Can I tell you something?"
"Of course."
You smiled.
"I like these calls."
A beat of silence.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Even at three in the morning?"
"Even at three in the morning."
A small laugh escaped him.
The kind that always sounded genuine.
The kind you never got tired of hearing.
"That's good."
"Why?"
The line went quiet.
You waited.
Then...
Very softly...
"Because you're usually the first person I want to talk to."
Your heart completely forgot how to behave.
For a second...
Neither of you spoke.
You weren't sure if he realized what he'd just admitted.
Knowing Isagi...
He probably didn't.
Or maybe he did.
And was currently regretting it.
His nervous laugh confirmed your suspicion.
"That sounded weird, didn't it?"
"A little."
"Great."
"It's okay though."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
You smiled into the darkness.
Because somehow...
The warmth spreading through your chest felt impossible to hide.
"You're usually the first person I want to talk to too."
Silence.
Long.
Very long.
Then...
"Oh."
You burst out laughing.
"That's your response?"
"My brain stopped working."
"Clearly."
"Give it a minute."
You laughed even harder.
And somewhere on the other end of the call...
He was laughing too.
By the time the clock crept toward four-thirty...
Both of you sounded sleepy.
Words became slower.
Pauses became longer.
"Yoichi."
"Hm?"
"Try to sleep."
"Only if you do too."
"Deal."
Another pause.
Neither of you hung up.
Neither of you wanted to be the first one.
Finally...
You whispered,
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
A second passed.
Then another.
And just before the call ended...
His sleepy voice returned one last time.
"Thanks for answering."
Your smile softened.
"Always."
The line disconnected.
The room became quiet again.
But this time...
The silence didn't feel lonely.
Because somewhere in the city...
Someone was finally sleeping a little easier.
And somehow...
So were you.

MIDNIGHT CALLS ♡
Where they can't sleep so they decided to call you ♡
Rin itoshi and Sae itoshi (seperate) pt:-1, pt:-2
Rin Itoshi :-
The vibration of your phone cut through the silence of your room.
3:41 A.M.
You blinked at the screen, still half asleep.
One name.
Rin.
Your heart skipped.
Rin didn't call.
Ever.
If he needed something, he'd send a text.
If it was urgent, he'd send two.
Calling...
That wasn't him.
You answered almost immediately.
"...Hello?"
Nothing.
Not even breathing.
For a second, you wondered if he'd hung up.
"Rin?"
A faint inhale.
"...Yeah."
His voice was rough.
As though he'd barely spoken all day.
You rubbed your eyes.
"Are you okay?"
"...Mm."
"You don't sound okay."
Silence.
You smiled to yourself.
Some things never changed.
"You know," you whispered, "you're terrible at lying."
"...I know."
The rain outside tapped softly against your window.
Neither of you spoke.
Usually, silence made people uncomfortable.
With Rin...
It always felt different.
Not empty.
Just...
Full of things he couldn't say.
You curled your legs beneath your blanket.
"So..."
"What are you doing awake?"
"...Couldn't sleep."
"Nightmare?"
"No."
"Thinking too much?"
...
"...Yeah."
There it was.
One honest answer.
Hidden beneath ten seconds of silence.
You looked at the clock again.
Almost four.
"You've been awake long?"
"I don't know."
"You stopped checking?"
"...Mm."
A small smile touched your lips.
Even exhausted...
He still answered in the shortest way possible.
"You know..."
"I was surprised when I saw your name."
"...Why?"
"Because you hate calling people."
"I do."
"So why call me?"
The line went quiet.
You waited.
One minute.
Maybe more.
Just when you thought he wouldn't answer...
"...You listen."
Your breath caught.
It wasn't romantic.
It wasn't poetic.
It was Rin.
Simple.
Blunt.
Completely honest.
"...That's it?"
"...Isn't that enough?"
You laughed quietly.
"It is."
More than enough.
The sound of your laugh lingered in the silence.
You imagined him sitting somewhere alone.
Probably by a window.
Arms folded.
Looking outside instead of at his phone.
"You know..."
"I almost ignored the call."
"...Why?"
"I thought maybe you dialed me by accident."
"...I didn't."
"I know that now."
Another pause.
Then...
"...I stared at your contact for almost ten minutes."
Your smile faded into something softer.
"You what?"
"I kept deciding not to call."
"But..."
"...I kept coming back."
You swallowed.
That sounded exactly like him.
Not impulsive.
Not dramatic.
Just...
Someone fighting with himself.
"Can I ask you something?"
"...Hm."
"What made you press the call button?"
No answer.
The silence stretched.
You thought he'd changed his mind.
Then...
"...I wanted the noise in my head to stop."
"And?"
"..."
"Did it?"
A slow exhale.
"...A little."
Your heart ached.
You wished you were sitting beside him instead of talking through a screen.
"I wish I could do more."
"...You're already doing it."
"Doing what?"
"...You're here."
You stared at the ceiling.
Such a tiny sentence.
Yet it carried more weight than a hundred love confessions.
The rain outside grew heavier.
"I've noticed something."
"...What?"
"You always try to deal with everything alone."
"..."
"You don't have to."
"I know."
"No."
You smiled sadly.
"I don't think you do."
Silence.
Long.
Painfully long.
Then...
"...It's easier."
"Easier for who?"
No answer.
You sighed.
"For everyone else?"
"...Maybe."
Your chest tightened.
"You know what I think?"
"..."
"I think you're so used to carrying everything by yourself..."
"...that asking someone to stay feels harder than carrying the weight."
Nothing.
Only breathing.
You immediately regretted saying it.
Maybe you'd gone too far.
Maybe—
"...You're annoying."
You blinked.
Then laughed.
"There you are."
"..."
"I was wondering when you'd insult me."
"...You talk too much."
"You called me."
"..."
"...Fair."
You smiled into the darkness.
"You know..."
"If you ever can't sleep again..."
"...Call me."
Another silence.
Then...
"...Even if it's three in the morning?"
"Especially if it's three in the morning."
"...You'll answer?"
"Every time."
No hesitation.
No jokes.
Just certainty.
The line remained quiet for so long that you thought he'd fallen asleep.
Then...
His voice came back.
Barely louder than a whisper.
"...Don't make promises you can't keep."
Your heart squeezed.
"I don't."
More silence.
Then...
For the first time since the call began...
You heard it.
Not a laugh.
Not exactly.
Just...
The faintest breath of amusement.
"So..."
"You finally believe me?"
"...Maybe."
"You know that's the closest thing to affection I've ever gotten from you."
"...Don't get used to it."
"There he is."
"...Go to sleep."
"You first."
"...Stubborn."
"I learned from you."
A quiet scoff escaped him.
"You copied the worst habit."
"I had a good teacher."
He didn't answer.
But...
He didn't hang up either.
For another twenty minutes...
Neither of you said much.
You listened to the rain.
He listened to your breathing.
Some people needed words to feel close.
Rin never did.
When you finally whispered,
"Goodnight, Rin."
He didn't reply immediately.
Seconds passed.
Then...
So quietly that you almost missed it...
"...Goodnight."
And somehow...
That single word felt more intimate than an entire love letter.
---
Sae itoshi:-
3:02 A.M.
The room was almost completely dark.
Only the faint glow of your phone rested on the bedside table, occasionally lighting up the edge of your blanket whenever a notification from some forgotten app appeared.
Outside, rain tapped lazily against your bedroom window.
The city had finally quieted.
No traffic.
No voices.
Just rain...
...and the soft hum of your ceiling fan.
You had almost fallen asleep.
Almost.
Your phone vibrated.
Once.
Not repeatedly.
Not urgently.
Just...
Buzz.
Your eyebrows knitted together.
Who in the world...
Half asleep, you reached for your phone without even opening your eyes.
The brightness made you squint.
Sae Itoshi.
For a second...
You simply stared.
Your sleepy brain struggled to process the name.
Sae?
Calling?
At three in the morning?
You genuinely wondered if he had pressed your contact by mistake.
He wasn't someone who called people.
He barely texted.
Even during the day, his replies were painfully short.
"Yeah."
"No."
"I'm busy."
Sometimes he would leave you on read for hours...
Only to reply as if nothing had happened.
Calling?
That wasn't like him.
Your thumb hovered over the green button.
The phone vibrated one last time.
You answered.
"...Hello?"
Silence.
Not the awkward kind.
Not the kind where you wonder if the connection failed.
It was...
Breathing.
Faint.
Steady.
You sat up a little straighter.
"Sae?"
Another few seconds passed.
Then...
"...Did I wake you?"
His voice was quieter than usual.
Not softer.
Just...
Lower.
As if he had been speaking to absolutely no one for hours.
You glanced at the digital clock.
"Technically..."
"...yes."
"I was asleep."
A pause.
"...Sorry."
Your eyes widened slightly.
Sorry?
From Sae?
That alone was enough to wake you completely.
"It's okay."
"You don't usually apologize."
"I know."
"..."
"..."
Neither of you spoke.
Normally...
Silence between two people felt heavy.
Tonight...
It felt strangely comfortable.
You could hear rain from his side too.
Different rhythm.
Different window.
Same storm.
"You called."
"I know."
"..."
"...Is everything alright?"
Another pause.
Long enough that you almost asked again.
"...Yeah."
You sighed quietly.
"That wasn't convincing."
"I wasn't trying to convince you."
"...Fair."
Despite yourself...
You smiled.
Only Sae could answer like that.
He wasn't avoiding the question.
He simply refused to decorate the truth.
You tucked your knees closer to your chest.
The room suddenly didn't feel as cold anymore.
"You know..."
"I thought this was an accident."
"It wasn't."
"So..."
"You meant to call me?"
"...Yes."
No hesitation.
No embarrassment.
Just a simple answer.
For some reason...
That made your heart beat just a little faster.
Outside, thunder rolled quietly across the sky.
Neither of you reacted.
"Sae."
"Hm?"
"Why me?"
Silence.
Again.
You expected him to avoid it.
Maybe change the subject.
Maybe say,
"Couldn't sleep."
Or...
"Wrong person."
Instead...
"...Because you'd answer."
Your lips parted.
Such a simple sentence.
Yet somehow...
It carried more weight than any confession.
You looked down at your blanket.
"You sound awfully sure."
"I am."
"What if I hadn't?"
"..."
"I would've waited until morning."
"You would've called again?"
"No."
"..."
"I would've assumed you needed sleep."
There it was again.
That strange kind of care Sae had.
Not loud.
Never obvious.
He wouldn't beg.
He wouldn't insist.
He simply...
Respected your silence.
The rain outside grew heavier.
"You can't sleep?"
"...No."
"For how long?"
"I stopped checking."
Your fingers absentmindedly traced circles over the blanket.
"Bad dream?"
"No."
"Training?"
"No."
"...Then?"
This time...
The silence stretched longer than before.
You almost apologized for asking.
Then...
"...My thoughts are louder tonight."
Your heart softened.
Sae wasn't someone who spoke about himself.
Not like this.
Not voluntarily.
Which meant...
If he was saying it now...
It had probably taken him hours just to decide to make this call.
"I don't think I've ever heard you admit something like that."
"...Probably because I don't."
You laughed quietly.
"I feel honored."
"You shouldn't."
"No?"
"...It means I'm having a bad night."
The smile slowly faded from your face.
You leaned your head back against the wall.
"I wish I could do something."
"You already are."
"...I'm literally sitting in bed."
"I know."
"..."
"..."
"You picked up."
His voice was almost lost beneath the rain.
"...That's enough."
For a moment...
Neither of you spoke again.
But this silence felt different now.
Warmer.
Less empty.
As though two people separated by miles were somehow sharing the same room.
Your eyes drifted toward the rain-streaked window.
"Sae."
"Hm?"
"If I asked you to tell me what's on your mind..."
"Would you?"
Another pause.
"...Not tonight."
You smiled gently.
"That's okay."
"I wasn't expecting you to."
"...Thanks."
"No pressure."
"You don't have to explain everything."
"...Just don't disappear, okay?"
The words slipped out before you could stop them.
Silence.
A long one.
Long enough that you wondered if you had crossed a line.
Then...
"...I wasn't planning to."
Your heartbeat betrayed you.
Because somehow...
Coming from anyone else...
Those words would've sounded ordinary.
Coming from Sae...
They sounded like a promise.

Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Stone?♡
Warning:- fluff to angst♡
This trend was going really viral on social media platforms for a few months so guess why not write it?¯\_(ツ)_/¯
❄️ 𓂃 ࣪˖ ⋆。°✩°。⋆ ࣪˖ 𓂃 ❄️
The snow fell softly that night.
The bridge was almost empty, wrapped in a quiet kind of cold. The city lights shimmered below, blurred by the snowfall, making everything feel like it belonged to a world separate from everyone else.
You stood beside Sae, close enough that the cold didn’t matter as much.
Your hands were holding his, fingers slowly warming against each other. Sae glanced down at them, then at you.
He didn’t comment.
He never did.
But he stayed.
And for someone like Sae Itoshi, staying was already saying something.
You rested against him, watching the snow fall.
“Sae?”
“What?”
You smiled.
“Would you still love me if I was a stone?”
He looked at you.
A quiet pause.
“A stone?”
You laughed.
“Yeah.”
His expression barely changed, but there was a hint of disbelief.
“That’s stupid.”
“Answer.”
Sae looked away.
Then, after a moment:
“Of course I would.”
You smiled.
“Really?”
He looked back at you.
“Why wouldn’t I?”
You didn’t know that would be the last time you asked him something so simple.
You didn’t know that months later, Sae would find himself standing in front of a place he never imagined seeing you in.
The snow was gone.
The warmth of that night was gone.
And Sae stood there, silent, looking at your name carved into stone.
He had replayed every memory.
Every conversation.
Every moment he ignored because he thought there would always be another.
But there wasn’t.
No explanation he received ever felt like enough.
No version of what happened made sense.
One moment you existed in his world.
And then somehow, you became a memory.
His eyes stayed on the grave.
And then he remembered.
That strange question.
That little laugh.
“Would you still love me if I was a stone?”
His fingers tightened slightly.
Because now he understood.
You weren’t asking about becoming a stone.
You were asking if he would still come back.
If he would still talk to you.
If you would still matter and loved after you were gone.
And Sae hated that he only understood when the only answer left was silence.
So he stayed there.
Remembering.

MICHEAL KAISER:-
At first, you didn’t think much of it.
Michael Kaiser had always been difficult to read.
He was loud when he wanted attention, arrogant when he wanted control, and impossibly confident when the world was watching him.
The Kaiser everyone knew was untouchable.
A king with a crown made of pride.
So when you noticed the small changes, everyone else probably would have missed them.
But you weren’t everyone.
You knew him.
You knew that his teasing became quieter.
You knew that his hand, which usually reached for yours without hesitation, would stop halfway before pulling away.
You knew that his eyes lingered on you like he was memorizing your face.
Like he was afraid he would forget it.
And that scared you.
Because Kaiser didn’t look at you like he was admiring you anymore.
He looked at you like he was saying goodbye.
“Michael.”
Your voice stopped him.
He was standing by the window, still dressed from training, staring outside instead of looking at you.
Normally, he would have turned around with that smug smile.
A joking comment.
A dramatic nickname.
Anything.
But tonight?
Nothing.
“Hmm?”
The answer was casual.
Too casual.
You walked closer.
“What’s going on?”
A small pause.
“I don’t know what you mean.”
You frowned.
“Kaiser.”
The way you said his name made his expression change.
Just slightly.
His jaw tightened.
“You’re avoiding me.”
“I’m not.”
“You are.”
Silence.
The room felt too quiet.
Finally, he laughed.
But there was no confidence behind it.
“You’re quite annoying, you know that?”
“There he is.”
Your voice softened.
“That’s the Kaiser I know.”
His eyes moved toward you.
And for a second…
you saw something underneath.
Something he was desperately trying to hide.
Fear.
“I keep dreaming.”
The words were so quiet you almost missed them.
Your expression softened.
“Dreaming about what?”
He looked away.
And that alone told you everything.
Because Michael Kaiser hated admitting anything he couldn’t control.
“About you.”
Your heart dropped.
“Me?”
He clenched his hand.
“About losing you.”
The silence afterward was heavy.
“Kaiser…”
“I know it’s stupid.”
His voice sharpened suddenly, like he was angry at himself.
“I’m Michael Kaiser. I don’t get scared over dreams.”
He laughed bitterly.
“But every time I wake up…”
His voice cracked.
Just barely.
“…I feel like I already lost something.”
You stepped closer.
“Kaiser, look at me.”
He didn’t.
“Michael.”
That got him.
Slowly, he looked at you.
And you hated how exhausted he looked.
The same person who stood proudly in front of thousands looked completely lost in front of one person.
You.
“I thought you were getting tired of me.”
Your eyes widened.
“What?”
His smile was small.
Broken.
“You have seen every ugly part of me.”
His voice lowered.
“The ego. The jealousy. The obsession.”
A pause.
“And I kept thinking one day you would wake up and realize you deserve someone easier.”
Your chest tightened.
“Kaiser…”
“I hate that.”
His eyes lowered.
“I hate that my own mind keeps showing me a world where you leave.”
And then he finally broke.
Not dramatically.
Not like the perfect scene from a movie.
Just…
a quiet collapse.
His shoulders dropped.
His forehead rested against you as he finally let himself stop pretending.
“I don’t want to lose you.”
The words were barely audible.
“I don’t want someone else to know you like I do.”
His grip tightened on your sleeve.
“I don’t want to be replaced.”
There it was.
The thing he never wanted anyone to see.
The fear behind the crown.
You gently held him.
“Michael.”
He froze.
Because you weren’t pushing him away.
You weren’t laughing.
You weren’t leaving.
“I’m here.”
A shaky breath.
“I’m not disappearing because you had a nightmare.”
His eyes closed.
“But—”
“No.”
You interrupted softly.
“You don’t get to decide for me that I’ll leave.”
That made him quiet.
“You’re impossible.”
A tiny laugh escaped him.
“You’re supposed to tell me I’m dramatic.”
“You are dramatic.”
He looked offended for half a second.
Then you smiled.
“But you’re also someone I chose.”
For once, Kaiser had no clever reply.
No perfect line.
No charming comeback.
He just held onto you.
Not because he wanted to own you.
Because he finally allowed himself to believe you were staying.
Later that night, when he fell asleep beside you, his hand found yours.
Like he was checking.
Making sure.
And when morning came…
No nightmare.
No goodbye.
Just you.
And for Michael Kaiser, that was enough.
SAE ITOSHI:-
You knew something was wrong the moment Sae started coming home earlier.
Which sounded ridiculous.
Most people would think that meant he was trying.
That he was finally making time.
But you knew him.
Itoshi Sae didn’t change his routine without a reason.
Especially not when it came to you.
The apartment would be quiet.
Too quiet.
He would sit there with his phone in his hand, staring at nothing.
And when you asked him what was wrong?
The answer was always the same.
“Nothing.”
A single word.
A wall.
“You’re lying.”
Sae looked up from the couch.
His expression barely changed.
“I’m not.”
“You are.”
A pause.
“You’ve been somewhere else for days.”
His eyes narrowed slightly.
“You’re overthinking.”
Normally, that would have annoyed you.
But this time, it sounded less like criticism.
And more like a defense.
Like he was trying to convince himself.
You walked closer.
“Sae.”
Silence.
“Talk to me.”
For a few seconds, you thought he would ignore you.
That was Sae.
When something bothered him, he buried it so deep that even he acted like it wasn’t there.
But then he quietly said:
“I had a dream.”
You blinked.
A dream?
From Sae?
That was the last thing you expected.
“What happened?”
His eyes moved away.
“We broke up.”
Your heart sank.
“Sae…”
“It was stupid.”
His voice stayed calm.
Almost too calm.
“But it kept happening.”
Every night.
The same thing.
The same feeling.
You walking away.
You saying you couldn’t do this anymore.
You leaving behind the one thing Sae never admitted he depended on.
And the worst part?
He knew it wasn’t real.
But his mind kept showing him a future he couldn’t control.
And Sae hated things he couldn’t control.
“I told myself it was nothing.”
He looked down.
“But then I started noticing things.”
Your eyebrows furrowed.
“What things?”
His fingers tightened slightly.
“How quiet it gets when you’re not talking.”
A pause.
“How empty it feels when you’re not around.”
Your expression softened.
“Sae…”
He looked irritated.
Not at you.
At himself.
“I don’t like this.”
“Like what?”
“This.”
He gestured vaguely.
“Being affected.”
The honesty surprised you.
Because Sae wasn’t someone who admitted weakness.
Not easily.
“I’m supposed to focus on football.”
“I know.”
“I’m supposed to not let things distract me.”
“I know.”
His eyes met yours.
“And yet you’re the only thing I keep thinking about.”
That was the closest thing to a confession Sae would ever give without being forced.
You stepped closer.
“Is that why you’ve been distant?”
He didn’t answer.
Which was an answer.
“You thought pushing me away would make it hurt less?”
A small silence.
Then:
“Maybe.”
You frowned.
“Sae.”
“I know.”
His voice lowered.
“I know it doesn’t make sense.”
You sat beside him.
Not too close.
Giving him the choice.
And after a moment…
he moved closer himself.
Barely.
But you noticed.
Because you always noticed him.
“I don’t want you to leave.”
The words were quiet.
Almost hidden.
Your eyes widened slightly.
Because coming from Sae…
that meant everything.
“I thought you hated needing people.”
“I do.”
A pause.
“But I hate the idea of losing you more.”
You smiled softly.
“You know, you’re terrible at expressing feelings.”
“I know.”
“You could’ve just told me.”
“I know.”
“You’re saying that a lot.”
A tiny movement.
Almost a smile.
“Because you’re right.”
The quiet returned.
But this time it wasn’t cold.
You rested your head against him.
And Sae stayed still.
Not because he didn’t care.
Because he cared too much.
After a few minutes, his hand slowly found yours.
His fingers wrapped around yours.
Secure.
Careful.
Like he was making sure you were actually there.
“You’re staying?”
You looked at him.
“Did you seriously just ask me that?”
His gaze shifted away.
“…Answer.”
A small laugh escaped you.
“Yes, Sae.”
A pause.
“I’m staying.”
That night, Sae slept peacefully.
No dreams.
No fear.
Just silence.
And your hand in his.
The one thing his mind couldn’t convince him he had already lost.
