Maybe it’s the quiet.

Maybe it’s the dim lights and the feeling that the whole world has finally slowed down for a little while.

Or maybe it’s just easier to disappear into another life when everything around you is silent.

No pressure, no noise, no expectations.

Just a book opened far too late at night, music playing quietly in the background and fictional worlds that somehow feel more comforting than reality sometimes.

I think that’s why some of my favorite memories are simply nights spent reading until 2am, completely attached to characters who don’t even exist.

Getting emotionally invested in stories like they’re real.

Forgetting about everything outside those pages for a few hours.
