Exactly. [nods] Oh right! I almost forgot about that. That was the first party of yours I ever went to. 

[sighs, putting down her phone before running her hands through her hair] Oh my God, I-I-I don’t like her. I really don’t like her right now. W-Why would she do this to me?

[raises an eyebrow] Who? Girls are mean. That’s probably why. I would know, I went through a phase...what’s wrong?

[chuckles softly] It-It was but I don’t mind. I know someone else who rambles…. Glad it was the right option for you though. [sighs] Thing is I-I’ve already been away for school… thought I h-had things going right for me… but s-somethings happened and I had to come back. I just… don’t want to screw up again.

Was going away making you happy though? Was it a relief to know you could come back here for breaks, but you had your own space somewhere else without everything that comes with being a Greensville resident? [her gaze softens] Screw up? What do you mean?

I’m thinking no theme. That’d be great. Do you know any good caterers?

I mean I’m sure you still could. 

I’m planning a graduation party for Ivan for the end of May. I’m trying to see if I can contact his extended family and get them to come. 

Oh yeah, things are great with us. How are you and Nico?

[smiles warmly] It’ll be nice to have a chance to see the two of you together actually...me and Nico are still going strong! I can’t really imagine what thigns would be like without him.
