On fun thing about everyone using ai to do their data analysis or write articles or whatever is it's really exposing how many people weren't doing their jobs this whole time.
"We just found out that the ai tool we've been using to make business decisions for 3 months has been hallucinating all the sales data!" okay well it was stupid to use ai for this, why didn't you learn how glitchy it was before implementing it, but far more importantly, what you've just told me is that nobody bothered to check the real numbers for 3 months. "This guy has been using ai to write 9 magazine articles for us and the quoted info was all fake, he has been fired" no editor checked the first eight? "I used ai to write this report and the math was wrong" you didn't check the math? In your own report? Everyone is just telling on themselves re: how their work was always wildly unreliable and they already weren't doing their jobs.
Awhile back I was looking at some marketing nonsense about some company trying to create, like, virtual versions of workers that could help with their jobs, and obviously the actual target was employers (who they wanted to convince that they could replace all their workers with bots and save on salaries) but they were pretending to market it to the workers themselves, and their whole pitch was like "imagine if this digital version of you went to all your meetings and stuff while you hung out at the beach, and emailed you a meeting summary later".
And I was just like. Meetings where a bunch of people send their AIs to meet and then send them summaries? If no people need to be at the meeting, why is there a fucking meeting? This is Email With Extra Steps. If all that's happening in the meeting is people reporting a bit of information, that can just be a report. All this does is admit that you don't actually need the meetings. You don't need to have robot-only meetings you can just cancel the whole thing.
Students writing papers with AI that teachers then read and grade with AI while media sharing platforms are full of ai slop made so that other ais will watch the slop and inflate viewer numbers. While people send ais to meetings to summarise information given by other people's ais at the meetings. People prompting ai to write messages to their friends which are summarised by a different ai and the friend tells ai to write a message back to be ai summarised again. I saw a reddit post the other day about a guy who couldn't figure out why his bride stormed out of their wedding while he was reading her ai-generated wedding vows. Inaccurate ai-generated shit slips into publication because the editors already weren't checking (assuming the writers were) and now the writers aren't checking (assuming the editor will). It's fascinating to see just how much people are already just nor participating and now they're finding easier ways to not participate. You don't have to get married. The boss doesn't have to schedule these meetings. Every time someone is like "ai fucked this thing up" I'm like. Sounds like you were already not invested in doing it.

On a random summer day inside the town's local pet store. Our main cast cross paths for the first time. Shadow and Amy, complete strangers, were completely unaware that one, looking wide-eyed terrified could clearly see the faint shimmering outline of a translucent figure, smiling eerily as its hollow piercing eyes stare at the one, appreciating the lively aquarium fishes, its color reminding them of someone's hair.
Amy: *pretends to use her phone in haste* 'i think...i see dead people' *she thought, scared that the spirit might haunt her also if it hears her speak or even whisper.*

The human ver. highschool shadamy au i've been cooking ever since i love everything shadamy part 2:
Making this au have 2 genres based on who's (Amy or Shadow) perspective we follow.
I just think its funny lol, since no one knows Amy sees things (her friends only knows about the tarot cards and she never shared much about her third eye or abilities, scared of being labeled as schizo or crazy by those unaware of her bloodline's abilties) meanwhile, city boy Shadow just moved back into their old childhood town (he had no previous connections primarly being only around maria all the time and their parent's didn't want to risk her health declining so he was not allowed outside as much as her), transfered in his 3rd yr. pretty much alone and still greving, he just thought this weird girl from school keeps following her around, at first annoyed but slowly becomes friends, unintentionally helping him be less lonely. being two goobers lol
It would then explain the (yearning x oblivious i'm trying to aim, i hate miscommunication tropes so none of that) he fell first obviously crushing while she is so oblivious to his crushing, due to her focusing the mission on solving a mystery lol.
so the one previous post where i said the genre is more fluff and shojo or fruits basket if kyo was the mc is Shadow's perspective on the whole ordeal, and this is Amy's:
The genre of this perspective to more of a twin peaks, mieruko-chan, spyxfamily the double life aspect and a good girl's guide to murder type of story where the romance is not the main focus but the mystery plot, which helps the characters grow or develop along the way as it gets solved. she'll experience moral dilemas with her abilities, since she is kinda living a double life, lying to basically anyone who isn't her family and seeing spirits in the family is like a rarity so that alone a different type of loneliness. she's so adamant on solving the problem she alone could see since the fault directly falls into her if she ignores a issue that could cause problems, so its a with great power comes with great responsibility orr she's got serious issues on people pleasing TT
one of the main points i like is, amy trying to work around her fear of ghosts since shes canonically is afraid of ghosts along with knuckles lol, she eventually gets to overcome it in later parts of the story tho when the mystery is completely solved, and the moral lesson on her perspective is learned.
Synopsis:
Amy initially thought she could only see harmless looking nature spirits in her life, using the psychic gifts, and abilities shared within her family. But one faithful day her worldview changed, when a new town resident moves unexpectedly in the summer, and comes with something ominous, a darkness always trailing behind him; assuming it's a dead or evil restless spirit clinging onto someone due to a grudge, possibly on this new person's unknown actions on that apparition. Thinking this ghost might be vengeful, and it's 'host' might be a murderer; she bravely ignores her reservations to find a plan to potentially stop this dangerous duo from hurting anyone in town, despite being fearful of ghosts and afraid of the harm they might do onto herself if she gets caught. Trying to use her psychic abilities for good, and balancing her new highschool life ;she unintentionally solves one of the town's unsolved mysteries, while also uncovers the truth behind on the one being hunted.
p.s. i'm not good at writing a full fic or continous story, heck i already revealed the plottwist on the ghost already so all u get is my senarios and synopses lol
