This is my ita bag blog that is all about these amazing bags. Honestly, I have a problem with how much I love them and how satisfying it is to bring them together. It’s bad for me financially.

You will mainly find my personal bags here, but a bag for sale will sometimes pop up crossposted from my shop blog. And while the quality might not currently be the best, they are made with love and passion all the same as I learn and improve the craft.

Materials that are used depends on what I have on hand, mainly for budget reasons, and I'm avoiding using cardboard, since I want the provided backings to be the best quality they can be, preferably lasting for years and years.

This is one of my 2-3 basic navy blue bags, and one of the ones where, as you can clearly see, have botched while installing the clear vinyl. Honestly, as long as the pocket holds, it being lopsided is not the end of the world. The other bag has a bigger concern to me anyhow, but you will see if when I post about it.

Since it is botched, I don't quite know what to do with it. If it should end up being priced as among the cheapest of the batch, if it should be a freebie for a $100+ purchase, if it should be mine, or a gift for anyone I may personally know.

Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of it. Honestly, I'm proud of every bag I have modified, and the fucky-wuckys are a part of the process in getting skilled at this. The fact that I am new to this is why I'm charging them as low as I am. You're not exactly paying for years of experience and skill building here. (Although I do look forward to when my skill and quality of bags can easily go into triple digits. That, or when there is enough demand. Whichever comes first.)

No matter my plan, though, I do know it will at least be $30, as that is the price where I'm setting the current build for the button backings. How my worst jobs at modifying bags are priced will depend on how the best are priced, since the pricing will mainly depend on the quality of the build.

But yeah, for the bag itself, I do know that this is...boring. But, honestly, I think that means it's just a perfect blank canvas. I would love to see what the owner does with it. If the bag itself will be decorated, what they do with the backing, etc. There is honestly a lot of opportunity here.

The bag pictured here is a personal bag. New bags for my shop will either have a plain white or cream backing so you can decorating the backing itself however you like. (Drawing/painting on it, gluing patterned fabric on, etc)

I was bullshitting around during my binge bag modification. Nobody asked for this. Not even I asked for this.
