First post ✨ I’ve been on here before, but it’s been a few years now so I’ve decided to try and start all over. So, hello! My name is Mars and I use they/them pronouns— I’m 23 and art is my passion. I’ve done commission work, but mainly just for family and friends. My main mediums are acrylic paint and digital art 🫶 but I dabble in a bit of everything. I may make a better “meet the artist” post later on, but for now I’ll be trying to consistently post some of my favorite pieces from the last year!

It’s been a minute! I’m alive!

My mother has been having some medical emergencies, and I have taken on being her temporary caregiver while she recovers (which could take anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months) so my posts may be a bit more sporadic than it already was for the foreseeable future.

I don’t really have any sort of fan base that may care about this update 😅 but figured it might be nice to slip in here!

The Love Burst Sweater

Inspired by ChendaDIY (YouTube) and her heart sweater! I used part one of her video tutorial for the front and back panels- only squaring the shoulders and leaving the bottom point. From there I freehanded the rest!

Very proud of how it turned out, and the decision to size down the yarn and hook for the ribbing and scalloped edge turned out perfect.

Easily my favorite thing I have ever crocheted, and pairs with a pair of bloomers I freehanded for a full Valentine’s Day fit (hopefully I’ll get pictures when I dress up and I’ll be able to post the full outfit here 🫶)

Does this even belong here?

Maybe not. But I’m making the executive decision that my crochet projects count as art uwu (I simply don’t want to make a crochet specific blog)

Will I regret this decision later? Maybe. Oh well!

Also… face reveal? I guess?
